Latest Astera QuikPunch & QuikSpot battery powered LED Uplighters arrive in IPS hire stock
IPS are excited to announce that we have added over 100 of the latest Astera fixtures to our hire stock. The QuikPunch and QuikSpot models are the newest battery uplighter models from Astera and offer an evolution of features over their predecessors. Featuring a full IP65 rating, these fixtures can be used in a wide range of conditions both inside and out.
Zoomable Fresnel Lens
Packed with clever features, but a standout is the Fresnel Zoom Lens. Offering a homogenised beam output, it is great to see a ‘proper’ Fresnel lens back in LED Par territory. Both QuikPunch and QuikSpot fixtures have a 13 to 60 degree zoom range. This means that the output can be focussed on a detail or provide a wash effect as needed.
Bright RGBMA output
The key difference between the QuikPunch and QuikSpot is the output. Both feature a RGBMA (red, green, blue, mint, amber) LED engine which is common throughout the Titan ranges – and colour matched between fixture types. The larger QuikPunch fixture has a 75W LED Engine producing up to 8000 lumens. This compares to the more compact QuikSpot fixture which has a 60W LED engine producing up to 3000 lumens.
Enhanced connectivity
The As you’d expect from Astera there is seamless integration with their control app and Art7 / CRMX infrastructure. Both fixtures also include TRUE 1 inlet and link outs as well as 5 pin DMX connectors for hardwiring where necessary.

Supplied fully charged and ready to go in 8-way kits. Our QuikPunch and QuikSpot kits arrive flight cased complete with barndoors and a range of rigging accessories.
