BS7909 Training Course October 2026
IPS are hosting a BS7909 electrical training course on 6th & 7th October 2026.
Following the sucess of our BS7909 course in January, we are pleased to annonce another 2026 date. The course will run on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th October 2026 at our Milton Keynes warehouse. We had some really positive feedback from the first course, and are looking forward to making this a more regular calander fixture.
Working with power supplies is an integral part of many technical event production projects. Power distribution systems must be designed, installed and signed off by a competent person. The regulations for temporary events have been in place for some years. Event organisers are now becoming increasingly aware of their responsibilities. If you design, specify, install, and operate electrical systems for live events, you will benefit from this course. This is the first electrical safety and compliance focussed course running at IPS, and it will be hosted in our brand-new training space. There will also be an opportunity to have a tour round our new site, warehouse and offices.
IPS BS7909 training course content

It is a classroom-based course that focusses on the BS7909 regulations and theory surrounding this. We will deliver the course with an event-specific focus, and candidates can then apply their newly learnt theory to enhance and improve their own practical applications upon completion.
