ETC Eos Essentials Training March 2026

Learn how to operate Eos family lighting desks at IPS on Thursday 5th & Friday 6th March

We are excited to announce that IPS will be hosting an ETC Eos Essentials training course in March 2026. If you are interested in learning how to operate an ETC lighting desk, such as the Gio@5 or Apex 5 as featured in the IPS inventory, then this is the course for you.

This is a two-day course. It is great opportunity to learn the Eos software and get hands on with the ETC hardware too.

ETC say:

“ETC’s Eos family of lighting consoles provides user-friendly control for various applications. This free, two-day course covers everything you need to get started with programming on your Eos family console. It includes basic and advanced features, offering hands-on training on programming theory and application for all Eos family consoles, including Nomad, Element, Element 2, Ion, Ion Xe, Gio @5, Gio, Eos Ti, and Apex.”

ETC Eos desks have been an increasingly popular desk on various IPS projects over the last few years. As well as being many theatrical operators’ lighting console of choice, they are regularly seen on all kinds of live event sites including large winter lighting trails too. If this is not a platform that you are used to working with, this is a great opportunity to expand your desk knowledge – or if you are a seasoned Eos fan, this course will offer a refresher plus hopefully some hints and tips about some of the more advanced features too.
