Martin Professional training at IPS
IPS will be hosting training courses from Martin on 16th & 17th July 2025.
We are excited to be hosting our first training courses in our brand-new training space. Promising a ‘hands on’ delivery, these practical sessions will be run by Martin Professional. Attendees will be plugging in, configuring and operating fixtures. As well as taking them apart (and putting them back together again!).
Course 1: Martin Professional Service & Maintenance Training
Wednesday 16th July 2025. This course will focus on Martin MAC Aura XIP and Viper XIP fixtures plus Jem ZR45 and Glaciator Dynamic fog machines. Packed with practical advice, this session is ideal for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of how to get the best from their Martin hardware.
Course 2: Martin Professional P3 & Sceptron XB Training
Thursday 17th July 2025. This course will focus on the brand-new Martin VDO Sceptron XB fixtures and the P3 software and hardware used to configure and run them. Incorporating details about the new series of PowerPort drivers and the DCE cabling system, this training session will start with the basics of setting up and using the Sceptron XB. It will then move on to the more advanced capabilities of the system. This will focus on the P3 software and hardware, and how it can be used with other Martin fixtures – plus loads of handy tips throughout the day.
How to book
The courses will be taking place at IPS, Second Avenue, Bletchley, MK1 1ED. We have plenty of parking, and there are easy train connections nearby too. There will also be an opportunity to have a tour round our new site.
