GLP JDC Burst 1 Hire: The latest strobe fixture from GLP is ready to hire now from IPS. The new JDC Burst 1 is the fixture we’ve all been waiting for – a brighter, faster version of the JDC1 that can be used outside too – what is not too like! Not that we’re aware of anyone suggesting the JDC1 isn’t bright enough, but this new hybrid strobe is eye wateringly bright on full output.
Key features include:
- IP65 Rated for indoor or outdoor use
- 12 Segment strobe line plus two RGBW LED Plates
- Motorised 185-degree tilt
- 49,000 Lumen Beam output, plus 33,800 Plate output
- 150 deg Beam output angle (110 deg plate)
- 8 control modes with 19 to 249 channels per fixture
- ‘JDC1 mode’ gives drop-in replacement for shows built with previous model
- Control via DMX/RDM, sACN, Art-Net & GLP Iq.Mesh
- 14kg rigging weight
Hire units will arrive from IPS cased in fours. DMX is supplied via 5pin XLR plus EtherCON (with failsafe passthrough). Power supply is via a TRUE1 again with a linking output. Each IPS supplied fixture comes complete with a 16a to TRUE1 power lead plus clamps and a safety bond. For full manufacturer details, check out the GLP website here.
