Elation MAGMA FOG 1500 IP-II: IP Rated Fog Machine

New in hire stock at IPS is a fleet of Elation IP67 rated fog machines. Our highest output units to date, the Elation Magma is ready for use in a range of indoor or outdoor environments. This IP rated Fog machine boasts an impressive 60,000 CFM (cu ft/min) output. Perfect to create whatever fog or smoke effect you desire.

The thermally protected heat exchanger at the heart of the MAGMA FOG 1500 IP-II has an initial warm up time of 14 minutes. This consumes 200ml a minute at maximum output, and the power consumption is 1700W. Power and data connections can easily be made as the units are fitted with TRUE1 and 5pin XLR connectors. An onboard LCD touch screen makes setting up easy, and control is via DMX /RDM via three selectable modes.

The MAGMA FOG 1500 IP-II includes a 5-litre fluid tank and ships from IPS in a lightweight wheeled flightcase, which IPS specifically designed for outdoor use. This unit weighs a fairly substantial 33.7 kg (rigging weight). IPS also provides a rigging bracket or yoke for flying applications. In most setups, users remove the case lid and operate the machine while it rests in the wheeled base. To prevent rain or water from pooling beneath the machine during outdoor use, the base of the flightcase features a built-in drain
