IPS joins Nexus Marketplace AI powered UK trade sub hire platform

IPS are proud to be the first vendor partner on the Nexus Marketplace platform. The platform offers an online interface to source professional audiovisual equipment. James & Karl have been working with the Nexus team to develop to platform, which will include suppliers from all over the UK.

What is Nexus Marketplace?

Nexus Marketplace is an online platform that has live links to equipment hire inventory availability. The standout feature is that this includes equipment from multiple suppliers, maximising equipment availability. Rather than hunting round multiple suppliers for combinations of fixtures as required, the system does the legwork for you. You can see real time stock information, and the fully automated order process can be completed anytime, day or night. Nexus will then collate any equipment from multiple suppliers as needed and deliver everything in one go to your warehouse. They also collect everything following the hire.

Integrated carbon reporting also means easy integration into sustainability initiatives. If you are after a large quantity of a particular fixture, it just makes sense for it to be sourced from UK based stock rather than shipping in from overseas. This saves time, risk, emissions, and ultimately money too. You can find out more about Nexus Marketplace here.

At IPS, we are always interested in industry innovation and pleased to be involved with the platform right from the start. Nexus Marketplace also offers advantages to IPS as a supplier as it will help to maximise equipment utilization. All IPS equipment will still be available direct from our Milton Keynes warehouse too. Our prices will remain online – and our friendly hire team will be here ready to take your call for any questions.

IPS offers an extensive range of Staging, Rigging, Lighting, Video, Audio and Power equipment for hire. Trade Equipment only hire is available alongside Staging & Structures and Technical Production Services.
