8ft x 4ft Mesh topped LiteDeck and huge 12.5m diameter circle ready to hire

New Mesh LiteDeck & 12.5m Circle arrivals in the IPS modular staging hire inventory provide more creative opportunities than ever. Circular stages are an established part of our LiteDeck hire range for many years. We have 4ft, 8ft, 10ft, 12ft, 16ft, 20ft and 24ft diameter LiteDeck circles in hire stock. This latest addition is significantly larger, with a diameter of 12.5m – or just over 41ft for comparison.

12.5m Circle

The 12.5m circular stage is described in metres rather than feet. This is because even though most of the centre of the platform is constructed with standard 8ft by 4ft decks. The custom curved decks have been made to a metric finished measurement rather than an imperial ‘feet and inches’ figure. This is mainly relevant if you are planning to integrate other elements into the platform. As with all our LiteDeck products, the 12.5m circle accepts standard staging legs. This means it can easily be built at a range of different heights. It could also be built as a stepped circle if required. It can be split into quarters, each of which could be different heights.

The 12.5m circle can be supplied as either a full circle, a half circle or quarter circle. Even in quarter circle configuration, it still provides a significant surface area. Ideal for a more interesting way to tuck a stage into a square corner. Hire prices will be on our website shortly. Mesh LiteDeck

Mesh decks are perfect for allowing smoke/fog/haze effects, fans and lighting effects to pass through. Having been comprehensively road tested on a recent UK tour, we are confident that this latest design is tough enough for rental use. Currently available in an 8ft by 4ft panel size, the mesh decks accept standard staging legs. This means it can be built at a range of heights, or fitted with wheels as required.

The Mesh stage decks have a matt grey GRP Mesh finish. This means they are comparatively lightweight at 62kg each – and feather light compared to our previous metal topped version! The tough GRP top panels are 25mm thick and have 38mm x 38mm square profiles on their anti-slip surface.

They are 7mm thicker than a standard ply topped LiteDeck module. This is barely noticeable if your entire stage platform is constructed with Mesh decks. However, this needs to be considered if integrating into a platform with other ply-topped decks. As ever, we have a range of ways to make everything work as seamlessly as possible.
