IPS returned to The Showman’s Show at the end of October 2025 for what was one of the biggest iterations of the show in several years. We had a bigger stand footprint which was packed with products from our Staging & Structures and Trade Equipment Hire ranges.

What’s new in Outdoor Staging & Structure Hire?

PA Towers

Brand new are our 10m Straight Mast PA Towers. Features include quick build time, smart black finish, and compact footprint. These are the perfect size for lots of main or delay audio applications and already proving popular. We now have 10 truss-based PA Tower options in stock and ready to go. Glass Balustrade / Handrails

We wrapped the area in front of our stand in our newly extended range of glass balustrade panels. We fitted their custom black-finish metalwork with tough glass panels, which users can easily brand if required. Custom designed by IPS, these handrail options work with all our Layher Event System platforms, and they now include more sizes and ramp panels. They serve perfectly for VIP viewing structures and platforms, and they also suit marquee substructures or any setting that requires a smart finish. LED Screen Support

Our modular screen chair structure securely supported the Chauvet REM 3IP LED Outdoor Screen that featured on the stand. Constructed from Layher, the screen chair includes a rear access tower section for easy screen installation. Black wrapped finish and incorporating an optional top lighting bar – which we used for an eye-catching line of GLP JDC Burst 1 strobes. More Structure Options

We also talked a lot about refinements to many of our other structures. Based on feedback from our customers and onsite teams, we are constantly tweaking and improving the design of our structures. The hub of the 2025 IPS stand was a single storey variant of our modular 6m Front of House structure. We’ve previously shown a two-storey structure (and can also offer a three-storey option too). With a 6m width, and modular depth in 2m bays this attractive FOH offers production accommodation for even the most demanding control solutions whilst not being too obtrusive for audience sightlines. We also offer a popular range of enclosed Projection and Control structures – details here: https://www.ips.co.uk/stage/projection-control-tower/. Plus, as masters of the custom option, we have deployed hybrid versions of these structures for use as VIP viewing platforms and a webcast studio. Recently we used the same system to create a performance platform for a publicity stunt featuring Lewis Capaldi.

Outdoor Roof Stages

We also talked a LOT about our range of Outdoor Roof Stages https://www.ips.co.uk/staging-structures/outdoor-roof-stages/ including 6m & 10m Bandstands, 6 -10m Arc Roofs, 12m MPT, 14 & 16m Tunnel Roof, 16m CLT XL, 16-24m PR15. We have something for almost all event size and application. There was lots of interest in these structures as ever – make sure you don’t leave it too late to book for 2026.

The whole IPS stand was created with our own standard inventory equipment. From the super silent generator and power distribution to the audio, video and lighting equipment on the stand it is all IPS stock. This also includes our hero product too, LiteDeck Staging. There are very few IPS shows without a few bits of modular staging somewhere. On this occasion we used LiteDeck to create bars, control desks and our coffee table – but it is of course a brilliant way to create Stage Platforms, Rolling Risers and so much more. LiteDeck can be used indoors or out, and we are always finding new applications. What was the show like – and what’s next?

Over 300 exhibitors and thousands of visitors combined to create the unique atmosphere for this show. Covering all elements of the Outdoor Events Services sector, it was as ever a diverse mix of people and companies from our brilliant event community, and great to be involved.
