The Astera Quik family is complete
IPS has the first hire stock of the Astera QuikBeam battery spotlight.
We are excited to have added the Astera QuikBeam to our hire inventory. The smallest version of the new Quik family, the QuikBeam sits alongside its larger siblings, the QuikSpot and QuikPunch. Now with the arrival of the Astera QuikBeam, the Quik family is complete. We are also pleased to be the first hire company able to have the QuikBeam in stock – and also the first to be able to offer all the full Quik family of fixtures from one place.
Fully Featured
The QuikBeam uses the same Fresnel lens design and offers a 13–60 degree zoom. Its 20W RGBMA Titan LED Engine delivers output equal to a 200W Tungsten unit. The fixture runs on the QuikBrick removable battery, which swaps in seconds. IPS rental kits include extra batteries to keep one charging while one runs.
The unit also supports POE connectivity. An EtherCON RJ45 connector carries power and data through one cable. The compact IP65 housing suits indoor or outdoor deployment. The QuikBeam includes barndoors and a folding yoke and bracket. You can remove the bracket to instantly convert the unit to uplighter mode.
All QuikFamily products support control through the Astera App with the Astera Art7 interface, or through DMX or CRMX using suitable hardware. You can download the app, and check out the full QuikBeam specifications from Astera on their website here.
Ready to hire from IPS
The QuikBeam is supplied fully charged and ready to use from IPS in cases of four fixtures. The case design is a tough peli style wheeled plastic box with a retractable handle. Inside, each kit contains the following:
- 4x Astera QuikBeam
- 4x Barndoor & EdgeSoftner Filter
- 4x Yoke bracket, TrackSpigot, TrackPin & Eyebolt
- 8x QuikBrick Battery (4 in units, plus 4 spares)
- 1x Charging case with Netbox, charging dock and 16A to True1 power cable
