The ROBE iFORTE LTX has arrived
Perfect for outdoor RoboSpot systems, ROBE iFORTE LTX FS & WB are now ready to hire
We have been talking about the iFORTE LTX for some time here at IPS. We are very pleased to confirm that they are now here and ready to hire. A natural fit with our hire inventory, this IP65 rated fixture has a very impressive output. It also marks the evolution of the RoboSpot system. This now enables it to be used in a much broader range of conditions, including outdoors.
ROBE iFORTE LTX Fixture Features
The iFORTE LTX has a 1000W White LED engine with up to a 55,000 lumen output. It has a 3.5 to 52degree zoom range. Plus some clever long throw mode options for even tighter beams if needed. The LTX is also packed with effects. These include a rotating gobo wheel, 2 colour wheels, 2 animation wheels and a frost. Additioanl beam control is offered via an iris, 6-facet circular and linear prisms, and framing shutters.
Comparing to the predecessor BMFL WashBeam, the LTX is brighter with an improved zoom range. The WashBeam offered 41,000 lumens and a 5 to 45 degree zoom. It also has a lower power consumption (LTX is 1250W vs the BMFL at 2000W) – and that all important IP65 rating. The only slight downside is the weight – the LTX is 49kg compared to the BMFL at 38.4kg. Otherwise, you could happily swap the LTX into any previous BMFL WB spec knowing that it would offer a welcome upgrade in all areas.
The iFORTE LTX is in stock in two different configurations. These are the iFORTE LTX FS (FollowSpot) version and the iFORTE LTX WB (WashBeam) version. The FS version includes an integrated IP65 RoboSpot camera mounted on the yoke. The WB is the same fixture without the camera. The integrated RoboSpot camera provides the same functionality as the standalone motion camera. It adds an enhanced digital zoom as well as a defogging feature and hydrophobic lens coating to optimise for outdoor conditions. Ready to Hire
The iFORTE LTX is supplied from IPS packaged in a single flighcase. A pair of omega brackets with slimline quick trigger clamps and a safety bond are included for hanging. Each fixture is also supplied with a 16A to TRUE1 power cable.
To help configure your hire systems, we have adjusted how our popular Robospot hire kits work. You can now hire still hire a full kit as previously with a RoboSpot Base Station controller, Motion camera and cable loom. However, you can now also hire the Controller and cable loom only – which is perfect for use with the iFORTE LTX FS. We have also made just the Motion camera available to hire separately too.
Just as a reminder, the ROBE RoboSpot basestation controller and ROBE Motion Camera still must be only be used inside (as they are not IP rated). However the IP65 rating of the iFORTE LTX means these fixtures (including the camera on the FS version) can be installed almost anywhere.
