Showtec Edison Bar E6 joins the expanding IPS vintage and retro lighting hire range.

Vintage & Retro Lighting Hire Update

In another way to make us feel old, increasing numbers of fixtures are now being tagged as vintage or retro. Event and Lighting designers are dialing into this vintage and retro lighting format – and at IPS we have lots of hire options to make this happen. These include new takes on modern classics – such as the Showtec Edison E6 that has recently joined our hire stock. It also includes a new look at some older tungsten source fixtures nestling within our extensive stocks.

Showtec Edison E6

Introducing the Showtec Edison E6, a recent addition to the IPS lighting hire range. The Showtec Edison Bar E6 is a DMX LED dimmer with 6 x E27 sockets for six LED light sources. Each can be up to 8 watts. Designed for indoor applications only, the output can be controlled manually or via DMX. It offers manual, auto-run or sound-controlled modes with many available built-in programs. The Edison Bar E6 comes with mounting brackets for quick rigging on stage. IPS offer the Edison Bar for hire supplied with 6x 4W dimmable warm white LED Filament lamps. Channelling the warm white glow of the much-loved Showtec Sunstrip, this retro style fixture is a simple idea that looks great when deployed. They look especially effective when used in multiples. Admiral Vintage Luminaire

The Admiral Staging Vintage Luminaire is available in a 38cm and 53cm format. Both can be fitted with a range of lamps to create the look you need. Users can fly the fixtures using the included brackets, or hire them complete with a theme appropriate wooden tripod stands. ROBE picklePATT

The ROBE picklePATT is a popular crossover fixture which has a classic vintage look – and a real 575W tungsten source. This means it must be used with a dimmer in most circumstances.
