10m x 4m ShowLED Chameleon RGB Starcloth
10m x 4m ShowLED Chameleon RGB Starcloth Hire
Starcloth is a timeless effect that works in a wide range of settings. The 10m x 4m ShowLED Chameleon Starcloth features RGB LEDs that can create a huge variety of dynamic looks. From a subtle blue/white twinkle to a vibrant chameleon colour change, Starcloth never fails to impress.
About the LEDs:
Supplied with an integral ShowLED ConBox controller which allows either standalone operation or control via DMX. Power inlet is via an IEC connector, and each cloth is supplied with a 16A to 13A cable. Data connection is via 5pin XLR with a link out. Each Starcloth contains eight ‘strings’ of LEDs arranged in a random pattern. The controller has three different DMX control modes using 5 to 24 channels per cloth. If you want the inbuilt patters, use DMX 10/5 mode for a single cloth, or DMX 10/5 sync mode for multiple cloths. For full RGB control of each of the eight LED strings use DMX 24/8 mode.
About the Cloth:
Black fabric cloth with black fabric backing. Each ShowLED Starcloth features Velcro on all four sides, with the ‘hook’ face positioned on the rear and the soft ‘loop’ face on the front. This design enables users to seamlessly join multiple Starcloths without gaps or light spill. Starcloth panels are easy to hang on bars or trusses using the punched eyes/holes fitted in the velcro perimeter of each cloth. We suggest 4.8mm wide black cable ties for this purpose, and you can add them to your order if needed. Each Starcloth panel comes with the controller box already attached inside.
This listing is for an 10m by 4m Starcloth. Due to the velcro and eyes, the panel can be used in any orientation or combined with other cloths to cover larger areas. This means that conventional width and drop dimensions are interchangeable. The 10m x 4m panel is our largest stock size, and ideal for bigger projects and venues. This size also works well in ‘landscape’ orientation with a 4m drop. This matches some marquee leg lengths and venue catenary heights. It can be used with Pipe & Drape systems (although sadly the velcro doesn’t mate on our wentex). In ‘portrait’ orientation, these panels work well as legs for larger theatre set ups, or in multiples to quickly cover larger areas. The ShowLED 10m x 4m ShowLED Starcloth is ready to hire now from IPS along with a range of other Starcloth sizes.

2.25m x 2.5m BWS Wentex Drape (Velcro 2.25m & 2.5m Edge)
2.25m x 2.5m BWS Wentex Drape
This listing is for a 2.25m x 2.5m BWS Wentex Drape (Velcro 2.25m & 2.5m Edge) Black Wool Serge drape. Manufactured from high quality Black Wool Serge material and seamed with velcro, these drapes have a ‘flat look’ finish.
Fitted with velcro to two sides, this drape can be used in either orientation. This enables either as 2.25m run at a 2.5m drop, or a 2.5m run at a 2.25m drop. Due to the velcro being on two sides, the drapes will naturally run in a sequence to attach one to the next. This drop height is ideal for smaller venues, and the shorter length drop makes lower heights easier to manage neatly without excess material.
IPS Wentex Pipe & Drape System
The IPS Pipe & Drape Rigging System uses modular bays manufactured by leading supplier Wentex. This versatile, flexible system works for masking, room divides, and a wide range of scenic applications. You can deploy it quickly by assembling a series of bays built from telescopic vertical uprights mounted on weighted baseplates. These uprights support length‑adjustable horizontal drape supports, allowing you to set each bay’s width and height to suit the space.
You then attach the drapes to the framework using Velcro for a clean, secure finish. Drapes are available in Black or White to suit most production environments. For smaller setups, we can supply the system neatly packed in a single flightcase.
