The four‑channel d&b D20 Amplifier is ready to hire from IPS.

The 2 RU D20 amplifier delivers four channels and suits applications that require low to medium SPL capability. It uses the same Digital Signal Processing platform as the latest generation of d&b amplifiers.


The onboard signal delay allows user‑defined settings of up to 10 seconds (3440 m / 11286 ft), and you can apply this independently to each channel. You can also apply two 16‑band equalizers per channel, offering parametric, asymmetric, shelving, or notch filtering. The D20 includes a colour TFT touchscreen display for quick menu access, while the rotary encoder provides precise adjustment. The front panel and touchscreen tilt upward to improve visibility when the amplifier sits below eye level.


The equal ratio of signal inputs to amplifier outputs increases flexibility. This makes the D20 particularly effective for monitor, frontfill, or effects channels. The integrated LoadMatch function electrically compensates for loudspeaker cable properties. The D20 uses Class D amplifiers with a power supply featuring active Power Factor Correction. It supports mains voltages from 100 V to 240 V at 50–60 Hz and maintains stable output even with weak or unstable power sources.

An NL8 connector provides all outputs on a single multicore connection. Dual‑channel mode uses four individual NL4 connectors, while Mix TOP/SUB and 2‑Way Active configurations for applicable d&b loudspeakers are available through two central NL4 connectors. etherCON and RJ45 connectors provide access to the d&b Remote network via OCA/AES70 over Ethernet and CAN‑Bus respectively.
