The Shure UR1 Belt Pack (K4E) a transmitter which is connected to a microphone capsule and a receiver to form the Shure UR4D Radio Microphone system. IPS stock Shure UR4D dual receiver units, so our hire systems are usually supplied in multiples of two microphones. This hire item is the transmitter only. To make a complete system, you need to hire either a beltpack transmitter and microphone, or a handheld transmitter as well as a reciver unit.

The UR1 belt pack uses a TA4F (mini 4-pole XLR) connector. This is typically used with a wired microphone. The two main types are a tie clip microphone (also known as a clip-on, lavalier or lapel mic), or a head worn microphone. The beltpack can also be connected to a specialist instrument mic, or directly to an electronic instruments via an adaptor.

Shure UR1 Belt Pack (K4E) transmitter is powered by two standard AA batteries. These are not supplied as part of the hire unless specified. They typically provide 7.5 to 9 hours of operation, depending on the RF power settings.

This is the most popular Shure UR4D system frequency choice in the UK. An adapter that connects DPA headset microphones, DPA lavalier microphones as well as DPA instrument microphones to Shure, TOA, PGX1 and Line 6 wireless systems.

The DPA DAD6034 Sennheiser Microdot Adaptor is an important but often overlooked radio mic accessory.  It is an adapter that connects DPA headset microphones (such as the DPA  d:fine headset mic that is ready to hire from IPS), DPA lavalier microphones as well as DPA instrument microphones to Sennheiser Evolution, X2 Digital Wireless, Audio Ltd. En2 TX wireless systems.

The adapter comes with an original DPA MicroDot to Mini-Jack Connector (with thread) inlet. The output is a locking type 3.5mm mini jack as used on many sennheiser radio mic systems – including the Sennheiser EW-DX range stocked by IPS.

There isn’t a huge amount more to say about the DPA DAD6034 Sennheiser Microdot Adaptor. If you are using microphone capsules with microdot connectors with sennheiser radio mic beltpacks, this is the adaptor for you.
