The IPS Sennheiser EW-DX RF 2 Way Kit is a digital radio mic system. The kit consists of a Sennheiser EW-DX Dual Receiver (S1-10) with PSU, 2x Omnidirectional stick antennas, 2x XLR Audio cables and a choice of two microphones. The kit includes two microphones can be selected to suit your event requirement. They can either be both the same or two different types. The choices are as follows:
- Sennheiser EW-DX SKM Series Handheld E845 Microphone with stand clip
- Sennheiser EW-DX SK Series Belt Pack with Sennheiser ME2 US Lapel Microphone. (Sometimes also called a tie clip or Lavalier mic)
Further options include a headset microphone for use with the belt pack. We offer a standard Theatrical Headset mic, or a premium DPA mic choice. Please note that the DPA option must be connected via a 3.5mm Sennheiser to microdot adaptor.

The EW-DX is a digital radio mic system. Featuring extended 88 MHz switching bandwidth, intermodulation-free operation for multiple channels with secure AES-256 digital encryption. These compact half-rack dual receivers can be used with Evolution Wireless Digital handheld and bodypack transmitters. They pack twice the channel count in the same footprint as the previous generation of Sennheiser radio mics that have been the backbone of the IPS radio mic range for many years now. Whilst the models we stock lack Dante connectivity, they do offer ethernet control options via Sennheiser Control Cockpit or Wireless System Manager. The ethernet connection can also be used to create a redundant power supply using POE.
An AutoScan-feature quickly scans your environment and deploys frequencies with equidistant channel spacing – even without RF knowledge. They also feature a Link Quality Indicator (LQI) showing the quality of the links separate to the RF levels. Audio outputs are via balanced XLR or unbalanced TRS jack to the rear, and handy local headphone output is included on the front of the unit.
