The CCL8 is part of the brand-new CL Series. As you can guess from the name, the CCL8 offers a horizontal dispersion of 80 degrees. Each cabinet weighs 17.6kg and can produce a max SPL of 137 dB.

Output directivity is maintained across the entire operating bandwidth owing to the arrangement of the forward and sideward LF drivers in combination with their processing functions. This Line Array cabinet is a 2-way passive design housing 2 x 7″ neodymium forward LF drivers, 2 x 5″ neodymium side firing LF drivers and two 1.75″ exit HF compression drivers mounted to a dedicated wave shaping device. The cylindrical wave segments of each cabinet couple without gaps and sum up coherently. Users can set Splay angles between adjacent cabinets in the range from 0° to 14° in 1° increments. The frequency response extends from 62 Hz to above 18 kHz.

The d&b audiotechnik CCL-SUB is a mobile specific small to medium format flyable cardioid subwoofer

d&b CCL-SUB Subwoofer NLT4 F/M

Designed to complement the CCL system, the CCL-SUB delivers powerful low-end extension in a compact, flyable format. The cabinet houses two long excursion neodymium drivers in an integrated cardioid setup. These are a15″ driver in a bass-reflex design facing to the front and a 10″ driver in a 2-chamber bandpass design radiating to the rear. The arrangement and tuning provide a cardioid dispersion pattern using a single amplifier channel. Its frequency response extends from 39 Hz to 150 Hz. The max SPL is 132 dB.

The cabinet dimensions are 457 x 590 x 710 mm with a weight of 44.5kg. An M20 threaded flange in the top panel accepts a corresponding pole for the deployment of TOP cabinets. Physically it is very similar to our existing B4 subs.

Amplifiers for the CCL-SUB

Any current d&b amplifier can drive the CCL-SUB. This includes the D25, D40, D80 and D90, plus all the installation range versions too. You can drive up to two subs per amplifier channel.

d&b B10-SUB Subwoofer NLT4F/M

The d&b B10-SUB is a compact subwoofer ready to discretely reinforce your low frequency output. An ideal partner for our U3, U5 and U7 cabinets, especially well suited if a minimal footprint installation is important.

d&b say:

“The B10-SUB is a mobile-specific compact multipurpose subwoofer that optimally pairs with the U-Series and other compact d&b loudspeaker systems. It includes two 10” drivers, housed within a bass-reflex cabinet, that features a newly sophisticated port design. The compact enclosure is just 280 x 706 x 565 mm. It can be used in either portrait or landscape orientation and has handy carry handles on either side. Convieniently it is also fitted with two threaded M20 speaker pole mounts which can be used in either orientation. The B10-SUB weights 27kg, and has a smart black finish matching the other system cabinets. The frequency response extends from 38 Hz to 130/100 Hz.

You can drive up to two cabinets per channel from all the current range of d&b amplifiers. We’d suggest the versatile D25 as an ideal choice – or consider the D80 if you want the full 130dB max SPL.

d&b B12-SUB

Complementing the CCL system, the ground subwoofer B12-SUB delivers powerful low-end extension in a compact format.

Technical Details from D&B:
The B12-SUB is a compact high performance cardioid subwoofer, intended for ground stacked applications only.

It houses two long excursion neodymium drivers in an integrated cardioid setup: a 15″ driver in a bass-reflex design facing to the front and a 10″ driver in a 2-chamber bandpass design radiating to the rear. The arrangement and tuning provide a cardioid dispersion pattern using a single amplifier channel. Its frequency response extends from 39 Hz to 150 Hz.

The B12-SUB has no rigging components. The manufacturer constructs the cabinet enclosure from plywood and coats it with an impact and weather-protected 2K finish. A rigid metal grill, backed by an acoustically transparent and water-repellent fabric, protects the front and rear of the cabinet. Each side panel incorporates a handle and mounted on the rear panel are four heavy duty wheels.

Two runners extend from the rear to the front panel of the cabinet protecting the bottom panel against scratching. Two correspondingly shaped recesses are incorporated in the top panel to accept these runners and prevent cabinet movement when stacking. The V-SUB is an actively driven high performance cardioid subwoofer powered by a single amplifier channel. The V-SUB features integrated rigging equipment, and shares the same acoustical and visual design as the V-GSUB, which is intended for ground stacked applications only. It houses two long excursion neodymium drivers, an 18″” driver in a bass-reflex design facing to the front and a 12″” driver in a two chamber bandpass design radiating to the rear. The cardioid dispersion pattern resulting from this approach avoids unwanted energy behind the system that reduces the reverberant field at low frequencies and provides the greatest accuracy of low frequency reproduction.

The V subwoofer can be used to supplement V8 and V12 loudspeakers in various combinations, ground stacked or flown, either integrated on top of a V8 / V12 array or as a separate column.

The V-SUB cabinet is constructed from marine plywood and has an impact and weather protected PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) finish. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill backed by an acoustically transparent foam. Each side panel incorporates two handles, whilst the top panel has an M20 high stand flange inserted.

It houses two long excursion neodymium drivers in an integrated cardioid setup, an 18 1D driver in a bass-reflex chamber facing to the front and a 12 1D driver in a two chamber bandpass design radiating towards the rear. The cardioid dispersion pattern resulting from this arrangement avoids the distribution of energy behind the system, providing the greatest accuracy of low frequency reproduction and reducing the energy dispersed into unwanted areas. The symmetrical dipolar arrangement of the neodymium LF drivers around the centrally mounted coaxial MF and HF components allows a smooth overlap of the adjacent frequency bands in the crossover design. The d&b V7P Loudspeaker is the largest point‑source option in the IPS d&b hire range.

The 3‑way passive V7P uses two 10‑inch drivers in a dipole arrangement. These drivers work together with a horn‑loaded 8‑inch MF driver and a 1.4‑inch compression driver mounted on a rotatable CD horn. Furthermore, the innovative horn design for the centrally mounted MF driver delivers remarkable sensitivity, which results in exceptional vocal performance. In addition, an advanced bass‑reflex and venting design extends the LF output and provides full‑bandwidth capability. The d&b Y10P Loudspeaker is one of the most popular point source hire choices at IPS.

The compact 2‑way passive Y10P loudspeaker uses two 8‑inch drivers in a dipole arrangement. A 1.4‑inch compression driver mounted on a rotatable CD horn provides HF coverage. Sophisticated horn geometry, combined with the advanced bass‑reflex port design, delivers full‑bandwidth performance with extended LF output.

These high‑performance point‑source cabinets offer 110° horizontal directivity controlled down to 500 Hz, matched with a 40° vertical dispersion. d&b Y Series Line Array Flying Frame Z5390 Hire

Designed to fly vertical arrays of d&b Y8 Line Array cabinets – and also can be used to fly the d&b Y-SUB too. The d&b Y8 Flying Frame Z5390 is a tour ready Line Array fly solution ready to hire. Designed for single or two point rigging, the frame can also be used with the Rotaclamp. Perfect for quick onsite deployment, users can fit the fly frame whilst the cabinets are still in the tour cart, making this a great tour solution.

Users must use Y-Series rigging components (Flying frame, Load adapter, Locking pins) only with d&b Y-Series loudspeakers.

Users can use the Z5390 Y Flying frame to suspend a total system weight of 540 kg SWL. This can consist of up to 24 Y-TOP cabinets or a SUB column with a maximum of 10 Y-SUB cabinets.

Rigging components enable users to fly arrays of up to 10 Y-TOP cabinets, with a total system weight of 220 kg, in any vertical splay angle configuration between the cabinets. For any other array configuration, users must check the load conditions within the array using the d&b ArrayCalc simulation software.

The T10 is a passive 2-way loudspeaker housing two 6.5″ drivers positioned in a dipolar arrangement and a 1.4″ HF compression driver and a passive crossover network. The T10 can be used both as a line array and as a high directivity point source loudspeaker. The HF driver is fitted to a unique waveguide horn producing vertical line source directivity with a 90deg horizontal pattern that is maintained down to approximately 600 Hz. An acoustic lens placed in front of the horn widens horizontal dispersion to 105deg, rotation of the horn by 90deg relative to this produces an accurate point source dispersion, transforming a vertically oriented T10 into a stand-alone full range loudspeaker with 90deg horizontal and 35deg vertical directivity pattern. The T10 cabinet is constructed from polyurethane integral hard foam, incorporates integrated line array rigging hardware and has an impact resistant finish. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill backed by an acoustically transparent foam, and two NL4 connectors wired in parallel are mounted on the rear panel.

The Z5373T Cluster bracket allows up to three T10 loudspeaker
cabinets to be mounted and set to different horizontal or vertical angles.
For this purpose two M8 threaded inserts at the d and b standard spacing
of 115 mm (4.5inch) together with a center M10 thread are integrated in
the tie bar of the bracket.

The maximum permitted working load of the bracket is 33 kg (73 lb)
(according to BGV C1) which corresponds to the weight of a maximum
of three T10 loudspeakers.

d&b T Series Line Array Flying Frame Z5370

The Z5372 T Horizontal bracket must only be used in conjunction with
d and b T10 loudspeakers

The d&b E12X-SUB is a compact, lightweight, high performance subwoofer for use with d&b E-Series loudspeakers.

The built‑in passive crossover network lets the E12X‑SUB operate in parallel with the E8 loudspeaker on the same amplifier channel, greatly extending the systems’ low‑frequency headroom and bandwidth. You can also run it in active mode on its own amplifier channel without making any changes to the subwoofer. In Active mode, the E12X‑SUB supplements any E‑Series cabinet — including the compact E6.

Ideal for smaller applications where you need the low frequency response of a subwoofer without the space needed for a larger unit. Constructed from marine plywood with an impact resistant finish, the cabinet is easy to move about and deploy thanks to a handle and an M20 threaded flange on the top. The Z5351 E8 Horizontal bracket enables E8 loudspeaker cabinets to
be mounted and set to different horizontal or vertical angles.

The E8 is a high performance 2-way multipurpose loudspeaker, employing an integrated coaxial driver. The E8 can be used for speech and music applications as a stand-alone full range system, or incorporated into larger distributed sound reinforcement situations. With the addition of an E12X subwoofer in passive or active mode or any other E-Series subwoofer, it can also easily reproduce higher level music program. The multifaceted shape of the enclosure allows use either in an upright or horizontal orientation as well as deployment as a stage monitor. The 90deg x 50deg dispersion pattern (h x v) of the horn is easily rotatable through 90deg to provide a 50deg x 90deg dispersion pattern. The E8 cabinet is constructed from polyurethane integral hard foam with an impact resistant paint finish incorporating a handle and a socket to accept loudspeaker stands. The loudspeaker cabinet is also available in Special Color (SC) and Weather Resistant (WR) options. The Weather Resistant option provides an IP54 rating, and enables operation of loudspeakers in changing ambient conditions. Both options are supplied with metal plates in the specified colour covering the handle recesses and loudspeaker stand socket.

d&b E6 Horizontal Bracket Z5378

Designed specifically to be used with the compact d&b E6 loudspeaker. This bracket enables the E6 to be supported in a horizontal configuration to get audio exactly where it is needed. This orientation enables maximum benefit from the small horizontal dimension of the E6 cabinet. These brackets enable the E6 to be ‘tucked’ into a wide range of postions. Perfect for when ubobtrusive audio reinforcement is required. Applications include under or over LED display screens and many more. The bracket can also be used in a vertical configuration if required, whilst still providing coverage adjustment in the horizontal plane.
