The grandMA3 full-size console is the flagship of the range. It offers the ultimate MA lighting control hardware and is designed for professionals that appreciate the hands-on flexibility that a no-compromise solution can offer.
The grandMA3 compact console is the smaller of the two compact models, offering the full system benefits of the grandMA3 system, housed in a compact and lightweight format. Easy to transport, the compact models are ideal for owner/operators and also the console of choice for tech-desk duties.
The grandMA3 light console is the work-horse of the range. It provides the perfect combination of power and physical size. The grandMA3 light console is suitable for all but the most demanding productions, making it probably the most versatile lighting console available.
Expanding the grandMA3 system is simple with addition of grandMA3 processing units! The grandMA3 processing unit M increases the overall grandMA3 system by 4096 parameters and enables the system designer to expand the lighting control system in small steps. Besides the powerful CPU for frame-synchronous calculation, the grandMA3 processing unit M additionally offers a Mode2 to expand existing grandMA2 systems by 4096 parameters.
The grandMA2 full-size represents MA Lighting 19s most powerful console and offers the control of conventional light, moving lights, LED fixtures and media from one platform.
The grandMA2 light has 4,096 parameters, 15 motorized executor faders and two touchscreens available.
All further features and controls are identical to those on the grandMA2 full-size.
The MA NPU (Network Processing Unit) unites the calculation power in the network and offers the same performance as the grandMA2 consoles. The MA NPU offers and handles 4,096 parameters.

The Chamsys MagicQ MQ250M Stadium combines a high capacity of show control with portability for a complete on-the-go console solution. All the IPS hire stock of the MQ250M console are fully expanded versions. This means they can control up to 128 universes without any additional processing equipment. Chamsys desks are based around the MagicQ software you are already familiar with accross all the range. IPS also the smaller MagicQ MQ70 desk too if you need a more compact Chamsys control option.

Battling against the GrandMA parameter based restrictions, on the MQ250M all universes of DMX are available direct through the network ports on the rear of the console. They use industry the standard lighting protocols including sACN, ArtNet and Pathport, without the need for additional processing nodes.

MagicQ MQ70 a Compact Console, small and lightweight console that you can fly with. The MagicQ MQ70 fits within hand luggage carry on restrictions of all the major budget airlines including, Southwest, Easyjet and Ryanair. The console features a 10.1%E2%80%9D Multi touch display, with illuminated encoder and fader tracks.
The console supports 24 universes with an option to expand to 48. The console has 3 network ports enabling ArtNet and sACN direct from the console, whilst also having 4 assignable physical DMX ports. This feature packed console also includes WIFI inbuilt to the console for quick connection to ChamSys MagicQ Remote focus application without the need for external networking hardware.
The MQ70 features an inbuilt UPS which protects both the console and the Ethernet switch in case of power fail. It has low power consumption and does not require a cooling fan – enabling silent operation making it the ideal choice for touring shows, broadcast, theatrical and corporate shows.
With built in MIDI input and output, LTC and audio input for synchronisation, the MagicQ MQ70 provides many options for integration with show control and audio systems.

The Luminex GigaCore 16Xt Gigaswitch is a pre-configured ethernet network switch. Designed for professional AV solutions, the Luminex range is perfect for touring and live events, and ready to hire now from IPS.
The GigaCore 16Xt is a Gigabit Ethernet switch. This blue coloured 1U rackmount switch from Luminex has ten RJ45 etherCON connectors on the front panel. There are a further two RJ45 etherCON on the rear along with four SFP Cages. IPS also stock a range of fibre cabling to make use of the SFP options and extend networks over larger areas. Please ask for more details and options. This makes the 16Xt very easy to incorporate into a wide range of control systems – and is particularly popular with lighiting technicians. At IPS, our lighting control hire systems are all based around Luminex network processing hardware.
The 16Xt front panel features a LCD display and physical controls for on unit hardware configuration. Supplied from IPS in a default configuration as standard, all options can also be managed through an intuative web interface – and also using the excellent Luminex Areaneo software.
Supporting 10/100/1000Mbps on each of the 16 ports, the Luminex 16Xt is a gigabit speed switch. It offers full non blocking wire-speedswitching performance. Mainly used for our lighting networks at IPS, the Luminex range is equally at home on audio, video or converged networks. It supports a huge range of protocols including Dante©, Ethersound©, sACN, ArtNet, MANet2, and many more. There are easy to use options within the switch interface to configure features. These include redundant links and protocols involving PTP clocking or Multicast.
The Luminex 16Xt works seamlessly with Luminex Luminode DMX processors. Options ready for hire now from IPS include the Luminode 4 and Luminode 12 DMX processors.
The Luminex Luminode 12 is part of the Luminode series, which represents an new generation of Ethernet / DMX processing. Built around 16 process engines within the hardware, the Luminode can be configured for a wide range of tasks. Compatible with control protocols including Art-Net, sACN, KiNET, RTTRp. This RDM enabled device features 12 5pin DMX connectors on the front panel. Each of these is fully optically and galvanically isolated, and can be configured as either an input or output. There is an RJ45 etherCON on the front (and another on the rear) for easy integration into a gigabit IP based network.
Unit configuration is via the multi-control encoder on the front panel which drives the handy screen. However the real power becomes clear when managing the Luminode via the web interface, or using the Luminex Araneo software. The process engines can be configured to perform tasks including a powerful merging function, which can be based on either HTP or LTP status. It can also work as an automated backup system, or a console switch, or also many other clever system configurations too.
