The Ayrton Domino LT is an impressive large format LED Moving head. It is a large fixture, optimised for long throw applications needing serious lighting punch. Featuring an IP65 rating, it can be used in almost any location.

To create this extreme Long Throw luminaire, AYRTON has used huge 225 mm-diameter front optics that can obtain an ultra-intensive beam. The proprietary optical system has 13 lenses. This can deliver a 15:1 zoom ratio and a zoom range of 3.5 to 53degrees.

The DOMINO LT tackles the most extreme conditions with ease. It acclimates to all types of environments and withstands rapid climate changes. Its cleverly designed full weather‑proofing still provides complete access to the luminaire’s internal functions. Equipped with a 500 W LED source calibrated at 8000 K, it can deliver metallic white light with an output of 27,400 lumens. Ayrton has specifically developed the optics in PERSEO PROFILE to achieve an optimal resolution-to-performance-to-efficiency ratio. Ticking all the key features boxes when looking for a profile fixture, the impressive 5.7 to 54 degree zoom range of the Viper XIP also place it firmly in the hybrid range. The Ayrton Diablo S is ready to hire now from IPS.

Ayrton has taken on the ambitious challenge of making Diablo the smallest, lightest and most efficient luminaire of its category. Key features are the record output of 19,000 lumens for a total weight of 21.8 kg. The DIABLO fixture is a powerhouse of technology that will tempt the most demanding lighting designers.

To achieve its objective, Ayrton has miniaturised the framing system while maximizing the performance level. This framing section allows accurate positioning of its four shutter blades on a 100% surface area in all positions. This enables the user to frame any object regardless of the luminaire’s position. A new ultra-compact high-output 550 W power supply feeds eight motors within the framing system. The fixture is the same size as the previous MISTRAL format. DIABLO borrows the same 13-element proprietary optical system. This delivers a 7.5:1 zoom ratio with a zoom range of 7 to 53 degrees. The 119 mm frontal lens can produce an extremely uniform flat beam that can render images perfectly in all conditions and at any beam angle.

Historically the RoboSpot Camera has only been available to hire from IPS as part of our brilliant full RoboSpot Kit. However, with the arrival of our new Robe iFORTE LTX FS moving head fixtures, we have changed things around a bit. This means that you can now hire either the full kit, or just the camera. Or alternatively you can hire just the RoboSpot base station controller and looms. This makes everything a lot more flexible.

The SGM G-7 BeaST IP66 is a dual-purpose moving head specialized in aerial beams and high-power blind / strobe effects. Its glass parabolic reflector collimates multiple reflections into one coherent beam of light. Meanwhile a rounded array of LEDs, inserted in the center of the reflector, delivers a high-power white strobe blinder. Due to its wide lens aperture, projection capabilities, and outstanding direct view effect, the G-7 BeaSt creates an innovative system specially interesting for long-throw applications, high-scale tours, and versatile installations.

LED Technology

The G-7 BeaSt features a powerful 360W white LED engine in combination with a 440W SMD array. Both lightsources work at their maximum output when operated independently. Plus they can also build effects together within a 650W limitation. With 102 lumen per watt, the G-7 BeaSt is the most efficient luminaire in the SGM product range. The LEDs expected lifetime is 20,000 hours.

Optics & Photometrics

The G-7 BeaSt mounts a special optical system based on multiple reflection collimation over a glass parabolic reflector. This system allows the unit to output a powerful parallel beam of light with a 320mm (11″) lens aperture. The strobe blinder consists in multiple lightsources with individual lenses inserted in the center of the reflector, optimized for direct view applications. With a beam light output of 85,000 lux at 10 meters, and a strobe blind effect able to reach 50,000 lumen, the G-7 BeaSt offers a performance way above of its size. When the beam and the strobe / blinder are used together, the fixture is able to keep the same lux values.

Aerial FX
The G-7 BeaSt features an unique aerial projection, thanks to its bright parallel beam of light, 6 rotatable gobos (2 split colors, 3 gobo patterns, and 1 frost filter), expandable beam, and special animation effects. This product has been optimized for high visibility, and therefore it is ideal for long-throws that need to be seen from a distance.

Efficiency
With 102 lumen / watt for the strobe / blinder function, the G-7 BeaSt is the most efficient fixture in the SGM range. The whole luminaire has been optimized to obtain the highest output with a maximum power consumption of only 640W. When the fixture only uses the strobe blinder, 500W is the maximum power.

IP rating, Dehumidification & Thermal management

The durable IP66-rating of the G-7 BeaSt ensures that the unit is kept free from externally induced particles and liquids. These include smoke fluid, dust, dirt, airborne pollution, and humidity. It is ideal for outdoor applications, while being a sustainable and long-lasting choice for indoor installations as well.

The internal built-in dehumidifier protects this fixture from moisture, pollution and any other factors that can generate corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification, not only removes humidity, but also prevents oxidation and condensation. Meanwhile a gore-tex membrane equalizes internal pressure to prevent leaks.

Cameo OTOS B5 IP65 Beam Hire

Razor-sharp, dazzlingly bright beams still characterise the appearance of modern lighting designs. With the OTOS B5, you can create these expressive looks on any indoor or outdoor stage. The IP65- compliant beam moving head is a light-intensive powerhouse based on a 480 watt discharge lamp. With a cold white colour temperature source (6800k), it delivers an punchy illuminance output of 11,500 lux at 100m. The OTOS B5 has a high-quality optical system with 205 mm front lens. The ROXX E.SHOW is a range of high performance LED Par lighting fixtures. An IP65 rating makes them suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The TW+ model that we have chosen for our hire stock is the Tuneable White Plus model which contains an 200W RGBLAC LED Source. The conventional red, green and blue (RGB) LED elements within the LED source are supplemented with Lime, Amber and Cyan (LAC) elements. This extends the colour reproduction range of this fixture by 15%. This contributes to the very high CRI rating of 97, making it ideal for applications where colour clarity is important. With a 200W source, the output of the TW+ is also very powerful, with a 9000 lumen rated output.

The Martin Sceptron XB 1000mm is an extremely compact and lightweight RGBW pixel-batten with a range of accessories allowing it to be configured to create a huge range of different looks.

This hire listing is for the standard 1000mm / one metre long version of the Sceptron XB. IPS also have the 320mm version in hire stock. If you are familiar with the previous generation of Martin VDO 10 Sceptron, this is a new and improved version. It is physically almost the same (slightly deeper) with the same range of filters and diffusers, and with some additional clever new rigging accessories. Cabling has been changed from the old BBD type to a new DCE type of Hybrid power & data cabling. Most importantly, the Sceptron XB is now RGBW, with significantly improved light output compared to the previous RGB generation. It is now also IP65 rated and can be used indoors or outdoors as required.

The RGBW LEDs at the heart of the Sceptron XB produce more than triple the output of VDO Sceptron 10. These are ready to hire from IPS, with the P3 PowerPort 2000 being a 1U Rackmount four output option, and the P3 Powerport 500 IP Rental being an IP rated truss mountable one output option.

Control is via Art-Net, sACN & Martin P3 control. The Sceptron XB can be used both as a lighting fixture and as a creative video element, and the P3 Mix channel enables switching and fading between ‘lighting mode’ and ‘video mode’. Fixture mapping and addressing is completed through P3 System Controller or Companion desktop or phone app.

Rigging & Diffusion / Filter Options

The Sceptron XB system can achieve many different looks partly due to the clever interchangeable diffuser lens options. IPS hire stock includes Tube, Tube Smoked, Round, Round Smoked, Square, Square Smoked and flat smoked options. IPS supply each Sceptron XB with a sliding bracket and lightweight half coupler. Also in hire stock are linear couplers and floor stand options.

Chauvet Rogue Outcast 1L Beam IP65

The Chauvet Rogue Outcast 1L Beam is a lightweight IP65 beam that packs a punch with speed and precision.

Its tight 1.4 degree beam projects extremely focused aerial effects. Create dynamic midair looks with this fully-featured fixture. Features include a colour wheel, gobo wheel (with both rotating and static gobos), layerable dual prisms and frost. It has a durable alloy housing. This not only weathers outdoor elements but also brings advantages to indoor installations. The low-maintenance design also withstands particulates such as fog and haze.

Astera QuikSpot 8 Way Kit

The Astera QuikSpot is a wireless IP65 LED spotlight with a Fresnel Lens. This versatile fixture with Fresnel lens features a 13-60deg zoom, zero stray light, and delivers 3,000 lux at 3 metres – all with just 60W of power. Equivalent in dimensions to the old Astera AX5 Par, but with a superior light output, and more advanced battery technology.  It’s a fixture every event, film, or broadcast crew will want on set.

The Astera QuikPunch is a wireless IP65 LED spotlight with a Fresnel Lens. Providing an accurate punch and fast operation it certainly justifies the “QuickPunch” in the name. This versatile fixture with Fresnel lens features a 13-60deg zoom, zero stray light, and delivers 8,000 lux at 3 metres – all with just 75W of power. Equivalent output to a traditional 650W fixture (think Strand Quartet). It’s a fixture every event, film, or broadcast crew will want on set.

With added Mint and Amber, the RGBMA LED source ensures event colour reproduction. The QuikPunch has a very high CRI of 96.

Coming soon to IPS, the brand new Chauvet COLORado PXL Curve 1

The COLORado PXL Curve 1 features motorized pan, tilt and zoom in a compact IP65-rated RGBW LED beam and wash fixture. It brings the added punch of dual linear cool and warm white LED strobe cells. Designed for seamless pixel mapping with multiple fixtures, alignment pins maintain pixel pitch. Also, its color blending and rectangular head perfectly match other COLORado PXL models in the rig. We are very much looking forward to the arrival of our Chauvet COLORado PXL Curve 1 fixtures. As a compact fixture which can be used both inside and out, there are a huge range of possible applications. Astera QuikBeam 4 Way Kit

This kit contains four Astera QuikBeam fixtures- a wireless IP65 LED spotlight with a Fresnel Lens. The smallest of the Quik family, this completes the lineup with the larger QuikSpot and QuikPunch fixtures. This diminutive fixture includes the Fresnel lens with smooth 13-60deg zoom. It delivers over 2,000 lux at 3 metres – all with just 20W of power. Equivalent output to a traditional 200W fixture (think dedolight). Able to be rigged almost anywhere, it is a feature spot fixture every event, film, or broadcast crew will want on site. With added Mint and Amber, the RGBMA LED source ensures event colour reproduction. The QuikBeam has a very high CRI of 96.

Fully IP65 rated, this fixture installs easily in almost any setting. Mounting options include the brilliantly engineered yoke and floor stand, which folds out to create a stable base. They are easy to suspend too, with a Track Pin accessory to attach a spigot for use with TV stands, or we suggest a manfrotto superclamp for any other applications.
