Catchily named in our hire inventory as the Chauvet Ovation HD Lens Tube 5deg, this is a great product. The tight beam angle created by this lens is great for precision lighting work, and gobo projection over long distances. The HD optics help ensure a sharp focused output of light every time. Compatible with LED source ellipsoidal reflector spotlight fixtures. Chauvet refer to these as ERS-style, we usually call them either profiles, or by the name of the product that ‘inspired’ this generation, the Source 4.

The Chauvet HD lenes differ in two key ways from their ETC source 4 counterparts. These are that they are typically fitted with plastic lenses which are optimised for LED fixtures (hence the HD). The other bonus is that all fittings are made from stainless steel. This makes these lenses very durable and resilant to indoor or outdoor use. This makes them the perfect partner for the IPS stock of all IP-rated variants of the Ovation product range.

Chauvet WELL Fit Wireless LED Uplighter Kit

A discrete, high powered LED up-lighter, this small battery powered wash light comes in a reflective chrome housing designed to blend into any decor. WELL Fit can be controlled wirelessly either by W-DMX or by an included IR remote. Alternatively, users can operate the unit manually from the OLED display on the fixture. The P3 PowerPort 1500 is an integrated power supply and data processor for the Martin range of creative LED video products, including the VDO Sceptron, Exterior PixLines, VC-Grids, VC-Strips and VC-Dots. Note that this unit is not compatible with the newer Sceptron XB range. When driven by one of Martin’s award-winning P3 System Controllers, it combines stable power delivery with high-speed, high-capacity video processing. Setup and configuration are easy and intuitive.

This listing is actually for a Martin VDO Sceptron Linear Aligner, although we call them Linear Couplers. The Martin VDO Sceptron Linear Coupler (Aligner) is dsigned for Sceptron fixtures. It is ideal for use with our Martin Sceptron XB 1000mm IP LED Batten and Sceptron XB 320mm units. This coupler is also compatible with the older generation of Martin Sceptron VDO fixtures as well as the VDO Fatron series.

The technicality is that the coupler version actually is fitted with regular screws which aren’t very event friendly. As such the version we supply is officially called an aligner by Martin – but it is the same piece of hardware just with black thumbscrews rather than the screws.

The Linear Coupler features include:

• Slides into back-profile of VDO Sceptron or VDO Fatron and is locked into positon using thumbscrews
• Guarantees perfect alignment between adjacent fixtures
• Black finish that matches the metalwork of the Sceptron fixture

We supply one Martin VDO Sceptron Sliding Bracket as standard with the hire of our Martin Sceptron XB 1000mm IP LED Batten and Martin Sceptron XB 320mm IP LED Batten units. This bracket is also compatible with the older generation of Martin Sceptron VDO fixtures as well as the VDO Fatron series. When supplied with a Sceptron XB fixture, we also include a Doughty T5812201 Super Lightweight Half Coupler in black finish. However, this listing is for the sliding bracket only, and if your design and/or rigging requirements need more, this is the item for you!

Showtec Sunstrip Active

The Showtec Sunstrip Active DMX Blinder (3 PIN DMX) MK1 is ready to hire from IPS. One of our older hire stock items, this 10 cell GU10 lamp-based blinder is something of a classic fixture. Now often considered in the vintage or retro category, the Sunstrip remains a popular choice with lighting designers.  It can create looks from a soft warm glow to a harsh bright white. Plus, with individual cell control, it also offers lots of pixel mapping possibilities.

The Sunstrip Active is the successor of the already popular Sunstrip I and II. The Sunstrip Active has a built-in dimmerpack, making it quick and easy to deploy. Just add power, and external control if desired. In order to make the unit most versatile for many applications you can select different DMX modes: 1, 2, 5 and 10 channel. For stand-alone applications, the Sunstrip Active is equipped with 16 built in patterns as well as a manual dimmer.

Power connection is via Neutrik Powercon inlet, and each fixture also includes a link output. Each fixture hired from IPS is supplied with a 16A to powerCON cable.  We have a large range of powerCON link options in stock too. Data/Control connection is via 3pin XLR. The Sunstrip Active is equipped with two Wall/Floor brackets to put your fixture in any desired position. Astera AX1 Pixel Tube Kit at IPS. The AX1 is a powerful pixel controllable LED RGBW baton that can be mounted at event and film sites to light up people and objects or create indirect lighting effects. A highly creative device that offers an infinite range of possibilities.

Seamless Runtime:

The ART7 AsteraBox is a wireless interface between all Astera fixtures and other control infrastructure.

AsteraBox functions as a Bluetooth Bridge that connects lights with phones or tablets and enables AsteraApp control. Thanks to the built-in battery, it can be carried around to ensure that it stays close to your handheld device. Regularly seen clipped to the belt of an LD alongside a show radio whilst moving around a show or venue! While the classic AsteraBox connects via Bluetooth, the newer version also supports Wifi when connecting box to phone or tablet.

In addition, both AsteraBox models can be used as wireless DMX transmitters using LumenRadio industry-leading CRMX technology. This way you can control Astera lights as well as other CRMX-enabled lights from a DMX controller. Chauvet RGB LED Festoon Kit  |  15m long / 20x lamps

Introducing the RGB LED Festoon system from Chauvet DJ. The second‑generation Festoon 2 system features single LED lamps mounted in holders. Cable tails sit on either side of each holder and use fitted IP‑rated connectors. Each section measures 0.75 m in total length. Control Options

The controller drives up to 60 RGB LED Festoon lamps, which you can connect together in a single string. You can hire additional RGB LED strings from IPS. Astera NYX Bulb Kit Hire

The first color-tunable LED bulb for professional film, stage and event productions. No bigger than a normal LED bulb, it contains a CRMX receiver as well as modules for the AsteraApp. It can be powered via a standard domestic Edison Screw (ES) lamp socket or with a standard power bank and thanks to its RGBMintAmber Titan LED engine it displays precise colors and white tones with ultra-high CRI and TLCI.

ROXX E.SHOW TW+ Hire

The ROXX E.SHOW is a range of high performance LED Par lighting fixtures. An IP65 rating makes them suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The TW+ model that we have chosen for our hire stock is the Tuneable White Plus model which contains an 200W RGBLAC LED Source. The conventional red, green and blue (RGB) LED elements within the LED source are supplemented with Lime, Amber and Cyan (LAC) elements. This extends the colour reproduction range of this fixture by 15%. This contributes to the very high CRI rating of 97, making it ideal for applications where colour clarity is important. With a 200W source, the output of the TW+ is also very powerful, with a 9000 lumen rated output.

The fixture itself has a high quality construction, and is easy to transport, rig and operate. Available with a 19 degree (Narrow) or 36 degree (Medium) lens as standard from IPS. Optional accessories include adjustable 8 way barndoors and a 19 x 57 degree elliptical wide lens, providing plenty of beam control options.

Users control the fixture through an onboard OLED screen, Bluetooth using the ROXX app, or wireless DMX via the CRMX protocol. ROXX E.SHOW Narrow Lens

The Showtec Stage Blinder FLEX Blaze Kit is a set of 8 IP65 high-power LED audience blinders. Offering Warm White plus RGB effects, these versatile compact fixtures can be used a a wide range of applications.

Each individual pod has a powerful warm white COB LED with a 3000K colour temerature. This is acheived with integrated warm white and amber LEDs to perfectly mimic the tungsten dimming of traditional blinders. Integrated RGB LEDs light sources allow you to create unique full-colour blaze effects. The powerful LED light source offers strobe functionality. This allows you to use the Stage Blinder FLEX Blaze as a strobe light with interesting colour effects. The light effect can be controlled via DMX/RDM. Power connects to the fixtures through a TRUE1 inlet on the controller. The controller sends data through a 5‑pin XLR. Hybrid power‑and‑data pod cables then link the controller to each pod. The blinder pods have a special mounting bracket with 4 holes at a 45-degree angle, so you don’t have to detach the pod from it to drill through the holes to mount it. The bracket also has a 12.5 mm hole, while the controller has two 12.5 mm holes and an M10 threaded insert for attaching a clamp. You can also attach a quick lock bracket to the controller and pods. Martin VDO Sceptron Round Diffuser 320mm fits both the 320mm VDO Sceptron XB and the older 320mm Sceptron VDO 10 series fixtures.

The diffuser fits securely into the integrated mounting channel within the Sceptron body. IPS has a full range of diffuser options in stock to create lots of different looks from the Sceptron units. These include Round, Square and Tube options. They are typically available both in the standard white/opal finish or a smoked finish. The standard white/opal finish gives maximum brightness and widest viewing angles. However they will look like white bars when turned off. The smoked finish is more of a stealth option and helps the fixture blend into darker backgrounds, sets or truss setups. The trade off is that the output is slightly reduced with the smoked finish.

Chauvet Ovation HD Lens Tube 14deg

Designed for use with Chavet Ovation Profile fixtures, the Chauvet Ovation 25-50deg Zoom Lens is ready to hire now from IPS.

Catchily named in our hire inventory as the Chauvet Ovation HD Lens Tube 25-50deg Zoom, this is a great product. The zoom range allows for onsite flexibility, helping ensure a correctly sized and sharp focused output of light every time. Compatible with LED source ellipsoidal reflector spotlight fixtures. Chauvet refer to these as ERS-style, we usually call them either profiles, or by the name of the product that ‘inspired’ this generation, the Source 4.

IPS also have an extensive hire stock of fixed profile lenses, which includes 5, 14, 19. 26, 36, 50 degree options.

The Chauvet HD lenes differ in two key ways from their ETC source 4 counterparts. These are that they are typically fitted with plastic lenses which are optimised for LED fixtures (hence the HD). The other bonus is that all fittings are made from stainless steel. This makes these lenses very durable and resilant to indoor or outdoor use. This makes them the perfect partner for the IPS stock of all IP-rated variants of the Ovation product range.

This 25-50deg Zoom Lens is compatible with all the IPS Ovation hire options including E-910FC IP, E-260WW IP and Reve E-3 IP fixtures.

Astera QuikSpot 8 Way Kit

The Astera QuikSpot is a wireless IP65 LED spotlight with a Fresnel Lens. This versatile fixture with Fresnel lens features a 13-60deg zoom, zero stray light, and delivers 3,000 lux at 3 metres – all with just 60W of power. Equivalent in dimensions to the old Astera AX5 Par, but with a superior light output, and more advanced battery technology.  It’s a fixture every event, film, or broadcast crew will want on set.

Titan LED Engine. With added Mint and Amber, the RGBMA LED source ensures event colour reproduction. The QuikSpot has a very high CRI of 96.

Fully IP65‑rated, this fixture is ready for installation in almost any application. The brilliantly engineered yoke and floor stand provide flexible mounting options, folding out to create a stable base. These all fit neatly within the Astera charging flight case (with Prepbox). Not supplied as part of the kit, but also avaliable are suitable hanging clamps and bonds and 16A to True1 cables for each fixture – just ask if you’d like these too.

Please note that other than a power inlet cable for the charging case, no other cabling is supplied as standard with the IPS kits, just ask if you’d like them added. Also, as standard the kits are supplied without clamps or bonds. They are designed to work well tv spigots or superclamps – again just ask if you’d like to hire these too.

Showtec Edison Bar E6 (3Pin DMX)

Introducing the Showtec Edison Bar E6. IPS offer the Edison Bar for hire supplied with 6x 4W dimmable warm white LED Filament lamps. Channeling the warm white glow of the much loved sunstrip, this retro style fixture is a simple idea that looks great when deployed. They look especially effective when used in multiples.

The six warm white filament lamps supplied with this unit are each a rounded rectangle shape. Featuring a ‘twisted filament’ style, they are 113mm long and have a 1800K colour temperature. The Edison Bar E6 has a very low overall maximum rated power consumption of 130W per fixture. However, the 4W LED lamp fitted by IPS means that in practice this figure may be even lower.

The E6 part of the product name refers to the six E27 sockets distributed along its length. Each E27 lamp holder receives power from a DMX‑controlled LED dimmer, which supports light sources up to 8 watts. You can control the output of each channel manually or via DMX. The unit operates in Manual, Auto‑run, or Sound‑controlled mode and offers many built‑in programs

Ready to hire now

The Edison Bar has a very similar chassis design to the classic sunstrip active blinder with a 1m long body. It is constructed from metal with a black finish, and comes with mounting brackets for quick rigging. Each fixture hired from IPS is supplied with a pair of omega brackets fitted with super lightweight half couplers and a safety bond for easy rigging. The Edison bar also has floor stand brackets on each end too. It maintains a consistent lamp spacing when deployed end to end for a seamless look.

Power connections to the Showtec Edison Bar E6 (3Pin DMX) are via powerCON inlet, and the fixture has a handy link out too. Each unit hired from IPS is supplied with a 16A to powerCON power cable. DMX connection is via 3pin DMX. Don’t forget to add 3-5pin and 5-3pin DMX cable adaptors to your hire if you need them!

Astera QuikBeam 4 Way Kit

This kit contains four Astera QuikBeam fixtures- a wireless IP65 LED spotlight with a Fresnel Lens. The smallest of the Quik family, this completes the lineup with the larger QuikSpot and QuikPunch fixtures. This diminutive fixture includes the Fresnel lens with smooth 13-60deg zoom. It delivers over 2,000 lux at 3 metres – all with just 20W of power. Equivalent output to a traditional 200W fixture (think dedolight). Able to be rigged almost anywhere, it is a feature spot fixture every event, film, or broadcast crew will want on site. With added Mint and Amber, the RGBMA LED source ensures event colour reproduction. The QuikBeam has a very high CRI of 96.

Fully IP65 rated, this fixture installs easily in almost any setting. Mounting options include the brilliantly engineered yoke and floor stand, which folds out to create a stable base. They are easy to suspend too, with a Track Pin accessory to attach a spigot for use with TV stands, or we suggest a manfrotto superclamp for any other applications. Please note that safety bonds are not supplied as standard with the IPS kits, just ask if you would like them added.

Offering rapid recharge times, the interchangeable QuikBrick battery system enables over an hours output at maximum brightness. Using the app’s power‑saving settings, you can achieve up to 20 hours of runtime. You can also swap the batteries for an instant power‑up when needed. You can connect external power and control data through a POE link using the onboard EtherCON connector.

Note that the Astera Quik family name is spelt without the ‘c’ in ‘quick’. If you are searching for the QuickBeam and it isn’t coming up, that may be why!
