A discrete, high powered LED up-lighter, this small battery powered wash light comes in a reflective chrome housing designed to blend into any decor. The ART7 AsteraBox is a wireless interface between all Astera fixtures and other control infrastructure.

AsteraBox functions as a Bluetooth Bridge that connects lights with phones or tablets and enables AsteraApp control. Thanks to the built-in battery, it can be carried around to ensure that it stays close to your handheld device. Regularly seen clipped to the belt of an LD alongside a show radio whilst moving around a show or venue! While the classic AsteraBox connects via Bluetooth, the newer version also supports Wifi when connecting box to phone or tablet.

In addition, both AsteraBox models can be used as wireless DMX transmitters using LumenRadio industry-leading CRMX technology. This way you can control Astera lights as well as other CRMX-enabled lights from a DMX controller. Chauvet RGB LED Festoon Kit  |  15m long / 20x lamps

Introducing the RGB LED Festoon system from Chauvet DJ. The second‑generation Festoon 2 system features single LED lamps mounted in holders. Cable tails sit on either side of each holder and use fitted IP‑rated connectors. Each section measures 0.75 m in total length. Please note that you cannot remove the lamps from the holders, unlike earlier versions of this product. Control Options

The controller drives up to 60 RGB LED Festoon lamps, which you can connect together in a single string. You can hire additional RGB LED strings from IPS. Other accessories include 5m & 7.6m extension cables and a water resistant enclosure. Astera NYX Bulb Kit Hire

The first color-tunable LED bulb for professional film, stage and event productions. No bigger than a normal LED bulb, it contains a CRMX receiver as well as modules for the AsteraApp. It can be powered via a standard domestic Edison Screw (ES) lamp socket or with a standard power bank and thanks to its RGBMintAmber Titan LED engine it displays precise colors and white tones with ultra-high CRI and TLCI.

ROXX E.SHOW TW+ Hire

The ROXX E.SHOW is a range of high performance LED Par lighting fixtures. An IP65 rating makes them suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The TW+ model that we have chosen for our hire stock is the Tuneable White Plus model which contains an 200W RGBLAC LED Source. The conventional red, green and blue (RGB) LED elements within the LED source are supplemented with Lime, Amber and Cyan (LAC) elements. This extends the colour reproduction range of this fixture by 15%. This contributes to the very high CRI rating of 97, making it ideal for applications where colour clarity is important. With a 200W source, the output of the TW+ is also very powerful, with a 9000 lumen rated output.

The fixture itself has a high quality construction, and is easy to transport, rig and operate. Available with a 19 degree (Narrow) or 36 degree (Medium) lens as standard from IPS. Optional accessories include adjustable 8 way barndoors and a 19 x 57 degree elliptical wide lens, providing plenty of beam control options.

Users control the fixture through an onboard OLED screen, Bluetooth using the ROXX app, or wireless DMX via the CRMX protocol. They connect wired DMX using 5-pin XLRs, which provide easy RDM-enabled communication. Each fixture supports twelve control modes, addressed by 3 to 20 DMX channels. Martin Sceptron XB 1000mm LED IP Batten Hire

Martin Sceptron XB is a compact, high-performance LED pixel system, designed for both lighting and creative video application. The Martin Sceptron XB 1000mm is an extremely compact and lightweight RGBW pixel-batten with a range of accessories allowing it to be configured to create a huge range of different looks.

This hire listing is for the standard 1000mm / one metre long version of the Sceptron XB. IPS also have the 320mm version in hire stock. If you are familiar with the previous generation of Martin VDO 10 Sceptron, this is a new and improved version. It is physically almost the same (slightly deeper) with the same range of filters and diffusers, and with some additional clever new rigging accessories. Cabling has been changed from the old BBD type to a new DCE type of Hybrid power & data cabling. Most importantly, the Sceptron XB is now RGBW, with significantly improved light output compared to the previous RGB generation. It is now also IP65 rated and can be used indoors or outdoors as required.

The RGBW LEDs at the heart of the Sceptron XB produce more than triple the output of VDO Sceptron 10. Higher output and higher light quality (CRI / TM-30 / TLCI) are achieved using Full Gamut Pixel Calibration. According to Martin, this guarantees pixel-to-pixel and fixture-to-fixture consistency, even when products from different manufacturing batches are being used together.

Power & Control

The Sceptron XB must be used with a Martin P3 PowerPort 2000 or PowerPort 500 driver to provide power & data. These are ready to hire from IPS, with the P3 PowerPort 2000 being a 1U Rackmount four output option, and the P3 Powerport 500 IP Rental being an IP rated truss mountable one output option.

Control is via Art-Net, sACN & Martin P3 control. The ACME PIXEL LINE IP 1000 is an LED batten, But it is a strip light is like no other. Its small size and weight (1000mm long with 7.3kg rigging weight), IP66 rating for indoor and outdoor use, and uniform colors and effects make this fixture extremely versatile for any application.

The Acme Pixel Line IP 1000 uses 672 RGB LEDs and 112 cool white LEDs. It divides the RGBW LEDs into 32 sections and the white LEDs into 16 sections. Chauvet Ovation HD Lens Tube 14deg

Designed for use with Chavet Ovation Profile fixtures, the Chauvet Ovation 25-50deg Zoom Lens is ready to hire now from IPS.

Catchily named in our hire inventory as the Chauvet Ovation HD Lens Tube 25-50deg Zoom, this is a great product. The zoom range allows for onsite flexibility, helping ensure a correctly sized and sharp focused output of light every time. Compatible with LED source ellipsoidal reflector spotlight fixtures. Chauvet refer to these as ERS-style, we usually call them either profiles, or by the name of the product that ‘inspired’ this generation, the Source 4.

IPS also have an extensive hire stock of fixed profile lenses, which includes 14, 19. 26, 36, 50 degree options. Plus we have a couple of 5 Degree options too – ask us for details.

The Chauvet HD lenes differ in two key ways from their ETC source 4 counterparts. These are that they are typically fitted with plastic lenses which are optimised for LED fixtures (hence the HD). The other bonus is that all fittings are made from stainless steel. This makes these lenses very durable and resilant to indoor or outdoor use. This makes them the perfect partner for the IPS stock of all IP-rated variants of the Ovation product range.

This 25-50deg Zoom Lens is compatible with all the IPS Ovation hire options including E-910FC IP, E-260WW IP and Reve E-3 IP fixtures.

Astera QuikSpot 8 Way Kit

The Astera QuikSpot is a wireless IP65 LED spotlight with a Fresnel Lens. This versatile fixture with Fresnel lens features a 13-60deg zoom, zero stray light, and delivers 3,000 lux at 3 metres – all with just 60W of power. Equivalent in dimensions to the old Astera AX5 Par, but with a superior light output, and more advanced battery technology.  It’s a fixture every event, film, or broadcast crew will want on set.

Titan LED Engine. With added Mint and Amber, the RGBMA LED source ensures event colour reproduction. The QuikSpot has a very high CRI of 96.

Fully IP65‑rated, this fixture is ready for installation in almost any application. The brilliantly engineered yoke and floor stand provide flexible mounting options, folding out to create a stable base. Astera QuikPunch 8 Way Kit

The Astera QuikPunch is a wireless IP65 LED spotlight with a Fresnel Lens. Providing an accurate punch and fast operation it certainly justifies the “QuickPunch” in the name. This versatile fixture with Fresnel lens features a 13-60deg zoom, zero stray light, and delivers 8,000 lux at 3 metres – all with just 75W of power. Equivalent output to a traditional 650W fixture (think Strand Quartet). It’s a fixture every event, film, or broadcast crew will want on set.

With added Mint and Amber, the RGBMA LED source ensures event colour reproduction. The QuikPunch has a very high CRI of 96.

Fully IP65 rated, this fixture is ready to be installed in almost any application. Mounting options include the brilliantly engineered yoke and floor stand, which folds out to create a stable base. It easily be lifted too, with a Track Pin accessory to attach a spigot for use with TV stands, and a manfrotto superclamp for any other applications. Introducing the Showtec Edison Bar E6. IPS offer the Edison Bar for hire supplied with 6x 4W dimmable warm white LED Filament lamps. Channeling the warm white glow of the much loved sunstrip, this retro style fixture is a simple idea that looks great when deployed. They look especially effective when used in multiples.

The six warm white filament lamps supplied with this unit are each a rounded rectangle shape. Featuring a ‘twisted filament’ style, they are 113mm long and have a 1800K colour temperature. The Edison Bar E6 has a very low overall maximum rated power consumption of 130W per fixture. However, the 4W LED lamp fitted by IPS means that in practice this figure may be even lower.

The E6 part of the product name refers to the six E27 sockets distributed along its length. Each E27 lamp holder receives power from a DMX‑controlled LED dimmer, which supports light sources up to 8 watts. You can control the output of each channel manually or via DMX. The unit operates in Manual, Auto‑run, or Sound‑controlled mode and offers many built‑in programs

Ready to hire now

The Edison Bar has a very similar chassis design to the sunstrip with a 1m long body. It is constructed from metal with a black finish, and comes with mounting brackets for quick rigging. Each fixture hired from IPS is supplied with a pair of omega brackets fitted with super lightweight half couplers and a safety bond for easy rigging. The Edison bar also has floor stand brackets on each end too. It maintains a consistent lamp spacing when deployed end to end for a seamless look.

Power connections to the Showtec Edison Bar E6 (3Pin DMX) are via powerCON inlet, and the fixture has a handy link out too. Each unit hired from IPS is supplied with a 16A to powerCON power cable. DMX connection is via 3pin DMX. Don’t forget to add 3-5pin and 5-3pin DMX cable adaptors to your hire if you need them!

Astera QuikBeam 4 Way Kit

This kit contains four Astera QuikBeam fixtures- a wireless IP65 LED spotlight with a Fresnel Lens. The smallest of the Quik family, this completes the lineup with the larger QuikSpot and QuikPunch fixtures. This diminutive fixture includes the Fresnel lens with smooth 13-60deg zoom. It delivers over 2,000 lux at 3 metres – all with just 20W of power. Equivalent output to a traditional 200W fixture (think dedolight). Able to be rigged almost anywhere, it is a feature spot fixture every event, film, or broadcast crew will want on site. With added Mint and Amber, the RGBMA LED source ensures event colour reproduction. The QuikBeam has a very high CRI of 96.

Fully IP65 rated, this fixture installs easily in almost any setting. Mounting options include the brilliantly engineered yoke and floor stand, which folds out to create a stable base. They are easy to suspend too, with a Track Pin accessory to attach a spigot for use with TV stands, or we suggest a manfrotto superclamp for any other applications. Please note that safety bonds are not supplied as standard with the IPS kits, just ask if you would like them added.
