The BGG FUSTEQ FQ110k is a premium100kVA Ultra-silent generator set. It is based around a fully compliant STAGE V (also known as Stage Five or StageV) engine. This means it is a HVO / Diesel Generator powered generator that meets all the latest emissions regulations. The BGG 100kVA generator can be configured either as a road towable unit, or skid mounted for HGV transport. The generator has integral fuel and AdBlue tanks as well as options for an external fuel tank connection. Using the internal tank only, generator run time is approximately 20 hours.

The BGG 100kVA / FQ110k is fitted with an ultra-silent compact canopy. The noise output is a very low 53dBA @ 7m – the quietest of all our generators.

instagrid LINK MAX hire

Portable three phase power from battery packs. Use the instagrid LINK MAX to combine the power of three Instagrid ONE Battery Pack (mk2) units to create one three phase output.

This system offers excellent portability because you can carry all the components by hand. It works perfectly onsite in remote locations or before site power is established. It also suits Staging & Structures projects well, as it can run multiple chain hoists or motors simultaneously.

The units are ready to hire from IPS now. Each Instagrid LINK MAX from IPS comes with three TRUE1 links, along with a 16A 3PH to 32A 3PH adaptor. The TRUE1 link cables are for connecting to the battery units.  The 3P adaptor ensures compatibility with our hire stock, as we typically don’t run anything smaller than 32A 3P in our power distribution and cabling range. Please note that the LINK MAX operates only with upgraded Instagrid ONE battery pack units. Almost all our stock has now been upgraded, and we refer to these units as the Instagrid ONE mk2.

instagrid ONE Battery Pack ready to hire at IPS.

The instagrid ONE is a 2.1kWh battery pack. With a weight of just 20kg it is very portable. It outputs 230 volt mains power at 50Hz via either an onboard 13A or TRUE1 outlet. An IP54 rating means this can be used for indoor and outdoor events. Clever battery and input supply monitoring and switching mean that we keep finding more applications for this versatile unit!

Battery Run time depends on the load being drawn. It is straight forward to calculate if you know the details of your intended load. For example a fixture with a 500W power consumption would run for a little over 4 hours.

More instagrid options

There are additonal backpack units that attach to the instagrid ONE. These include the LINK and LINK MAX, both of which are avaliable to hire from IPS.

The instagrid LINK is a single phase unit that allows up to three instagrid ONE battery packs to be linked together. This either provides 3x the output power (more current, same runtime), or 3x the output capacity (same current, more runtime). The LINK can also be used to allow a mains input to operate the attached load, with the instagrid ONE standing by to take over if the supply fails (and then switch back to mains once power is restored).

The instagrid LINK MAX is a three phase device. It combines three instagrid ONE battery packs to provide a three phase mains supply. Perfect for riggers needing to power electric chain hoists (motors) in remote locations.
