Eurotruss TD44 is a 40cm aluminium square tower truss with black finish. The TD44-100 is the part number for the 1m length section. This forms part of the IPS hire range along with 0.25m to 3m truss lengths. TD44 uses a 3 mm wall thickness in the main tube to ensure durability and extra strength. Designed for high frequency usage or installations, which demands higher loading. Ideal trussing system for rental, touring and exhibition companies. IPS stock TD44 truss is all in a black finish.

The Eurotruss TD44 1m Black truss has the same excellent load capacity as the Eurotruss HD44 truss series. The TD44 truss series shares the same dimensions as the HD44 and now discontinued FD44 truss series. Note that the FD44 has a reduced 2mm wall thickness which has a lower rated loading than HD/TD44.

The TD name denotes a tower truss type. Eurotruss created the TD44 truss for use as a vertical tower element, adding an extra welded ‘climbing’ brace on one side. However, TD44 is also ideal for horizontal (or any other angle) orientation applications with free spans of 18m in length.

The TD44 uses Eurotruss CS1 conical couplers (known as eggs) to join sections. Conical couplers / eggs are fitted using tapered pins hammered into position and then secured with clips or bolts. As standard, all IPS hire stock TD44 truss lengths come fitted with one set of four conical couplers attached with bolted pins. IPS include one additional set of four CS1 Pins and four R Clips with the hire.

Eurotruss HD/FD/TD44 Truss Base Plate

Black finish Eurotruss HD/FD/TD44 Standard Truss Base Plate.

Manufactured from tough 9mm thick aluminium base plate and fitted with welded conical receivers. Measuring 420mm square, this base plate has a compact footprint just larger than the truss.

Suitable for use with Eurotruss HD44, FD44 and TD44 truss sections. These can be used either at the base of a truss tower or inverted at the top. When used at the top they create a small platform ideal for supporting items such as moving head lighting fixtures. Eurotruss also suggest that these can be used as wall plates.

The Eurotruss TD44 Sleeveblock 4 way allows connection to Eurotruss ST Truss grids. Designed for use with Eurotruss TD44 Truss Towers, this sleeveblock has a fixed type construction. The fixed-corner design allows you to use the sleeve block in 1-way, 2-way, 3-way, or 4-way arrangements. The connection layout works with a Eurotruss ST Truss grid. IPS have a range of Eurotruss ST Truss lengths and corners ready to hire, all with a black finish. Sleeve blocks, also known as carriage blocks, typically work with a base, header, and chain hoist to create a self-climbing tower.
