SRS 48ch LV Motor Controller
This listing is for two of our 24 channel low voltage control systems, and the large 48 channel remote control. This forms our SRS 48ch LV Motor Controller.
The system is based around the SRS Rigging AHD-LV motor controller. To reach to 48 ways, two 24 channel system racks would be linked with a single remote. The design of the system means that any motor can be run individually, or selectable groups can run simultaniously. This includes all 48 ways at once if required.
The system includes two racks and an addtioanl conroller. Each rack is complete with two SRS AHD12-LV 12ch motor controllers and power distribution built in. The system would also include two 24-channel remote control handsets with a 20m control cable in each rack if needed. All data control link cable is included to join racks (just not the power links – see note below).
We also have a 24 channel version of this control system ready to hire – check out the details here.
The SRS motor control system has loads of great features. Some of the highlights are detailed on the SRS website here. Some of our favourite features for a hassle free set up include APA (Automatic phase sequence checking and alignment) and AVM (Automatic voltage check and hoist protection). Plus the group control feature is handy for running multiple units from one remote. We are also looking forward to using the RRST – Remote reset function. No more running back to the rack if someone hits the emergency stop by mistake.
Well Connected
Power input is via three phase PowerLock connectors. Plus there is a handy link output for when multiple racks are in use. The custom power distribution unit also includes 4x motor power outlets on the front panel. These are ideal for testing or running out chains next to the controller if needed. Each rack includes a further 2x motor power outlets to the rear, plus 2x auxilary 16A 1p outlets for local power too.
As this system consists of two racks, you would either need two PowerLock power supplies, or a PowerLock link cable to join the two units.
Outputs on the racks are via six pairs of socapex connectors. Wired to the IPS standard of 4-ways per soca, these outlets can either be directly connected to motor power and control fan / break outs or extended via socapex multicore cabling. Just remember that you need two runs of socapex, one for power and one for control when working with 4-way systems. Have a look in our rigging section for all the adaptors and looms you may need (scroll to the bottom for the cables), and check out our socapex hire listings here.
