Prolyte S40T 0.5m Truss ready to hire now from IPS. S40T is a heavy duty aluminium tower truss product. Riggers sometimes refer to the S40T, which has an exterior dimension of 389mm x 389mm, as 40cm or 15‑inch truss. The S40T truss series has diagonal bracing on three sides, and horizontal ladder style bracing on the fourth. The IPS stock of this truss is in a natural aluminium / silver finish.

This listing is for a 0.5m section of S40T truss. The Prolyte product reference is S40T-L050 Truss. IPS have a range of other S40t lengths in hire stock including 0.5m, 0.65m and 2m sections. Each length is supplied with a set of four CCS6 conical couplers bolted into one end, and four loose CCS6 truss pins & clips. The S40T features 45 degree coupler orientation (meaning the pins go diagonally into each corner) so it is equally easy to assemble in any orientation.

S40T truss is most commonly used at IPS in tower configuration to create Prolyte ST Towers. These are self climbing towers typically configured with sleeve / carriage blocks for use with Prolyte S52SV truss sections. Standard applications include freestanding rigging towers and ground support truss structures, both usually in self-climbing configuration. The Prolyte S40T also features as the support truss for the IPS CLT XL outdoor roof system.
