The Glaciator Dynamic Log Fog Machine is supplied from IPS fitted with a 32A single phase cee form connector.  The machine is on wheels to minimise manual handling and supplied with a softcover to protect during transit. Also available to hire is an accessory kit with a range of ducting and adaptors.  Please note that the hire price does NOT include fluid. The Glaciator Ducting Kit is a 3-way low-fog diverter kit that handily affixes o the fog outlet of the Glaciator. The included ducting adaptor is made of steel and finished in a matte black powder coating. The Ducting Kit includes three 150 mm (6 in.) x 5 m (16.4 ft.) flexible ducting hoses and allows the Glaciator to be located off-stage and for low-fog to be transported to the performance area and evenly distributed. If desired, individual outlet ports on the adaptor can be sealed off and low-fog can be ducted to any or all three of the ports, up to a maximum distance of 10 m (32.8 ft.). The optional Fog Blade system (available separately) can be employed for even more control and dispersion of the low-fog effect.

The Rosco Chiller Module, used with Rosco Stage and Studio Fluid, allows you to produce low-lying fog with variable densities on demand.

The operation of the system is simple. Attach the 1.5 m ducting hose that is included with the Chiller Module to a Hose Adaptor (supplied separately) affixed to the front of a Rosco fog machine. Attach the other end of the hose to the inlet port of the Chiller Module. As the fog output of the machine enters the Chiller Module, it is cooled by the dry ice in the basket.

The density of the emerging fog can be controlled with a fan via a knob on the remote control unit. The fan has a capacity of between 0 and 95 cubic feet per minute, so a wide variety of effects are possible. Using Ducting Hose, you can transport the output of the chiller Module to the location you want. Rosco’s Ducting Hose will slip over the outlet port of the Module.

When dry ice is not available, ordinary ice may be used. The Chiller Module will not leak as the ice melts, but water should be emptied or siphoned off frequently, and should not be allowed to accumulate to a height of more than 6inch.
