MagicFX Smokejet

The SMOKEJET blows smoke upwards, downwards or sidewards! Offering lots of mounting options, users can place the Smokeject on stage or mount on a truss. With the built-in power LEDs, you can even colour the smoke. You can control the SMOKEJET with the included wireless remote control for easy standalone operation.

Promising jets with a projection distance of up to 10m, the Smokejet is very impressive in operation. RGBA LEDs incorporated into the unit highlight the smoke / fog output. Everything is fully contollable via DMX, and the machine includes built in chase effects for the LEDs for quick setup. Look Solutions Viper 2.6 Fog / Smoke Machine Hire

The Viper 2.6 from leading effects manufacturer Look Solutions is a very powerful fog generator. It unites the current digital technology with proven technique and power. The Viper creates dramatic on‑ or off‑stage effects, and you can fully control its output. From a steady trickle to a massive burst, fog / smoke effects can be part of the background atmostphere, or a feature in themselves.

The Viper 2.6 has control via DMX as standard, plus 0 – 10 V analog contol for old school interfacing. You can use the unit in stand‑alone mode with its internal timer whenever external control isn’t required. The control electronics include microprocessor controlled temperature control. Multiple overheating protection systems include a heater block thermostat and thermal pump switch. Not that you’d need to worry about these features, as this high quality german made machine is very reliable in operation.

The powerful Fog output is adjustable in steps of 1% (0 – 99%) for precise control. A continuous output mode is also an option.

Relatively compact, the Viper 2.6 can fit into a wide range of applications. The machine is easy to move about, and fitted with a sturdy top mounted handle. The external fluid tank simplifies refilling because you can quickly remove it when needed. An optional duct adaptor is also available to hire from IPS to connect to an external hose if needed.

The JEM ZR45 Smoke Machine is ready to hire from IPS. The ZR45 is a high-end fog machine designed to deliver superior and uninterrupted performance in demanding professional applications. Via its enhanced and powerful 2,000 W heat exchanger, the JEM ZR45 produces an exceptional peak output ideal for major venues and stages in both install and rental markets. The ZR45 replaces the previous much loved ZR33 models stocked by IPS. Jem machines are no longer part of Martin, and as of last year are now distributed directly, so there may be some product name changes coming up. For the moment, you can find the user manual on the Martin website here.

The JEM Magnum 550 Smoke Machine is the baby of the IPS Fog/Smoke range. Compact in size and supplied with a wired remote. This machine is ideal for when you just need a small simple machine.

The Elation MAGMA FOG 1500 IP-II is a 1700W water based, IP67 rated fog machine.

Perfect for use in all applications inside or outside. The 1500 IP-II high ouput machine has DMX-RDM control and a 5 litre tank. With a 60, 000 cubic feet per minute fog output, on paper this is 25% more than a Jem ZR45 as a comparison.

Chauvet Vesuvio 4 IP RGBA Smoke Machine – Coming Soon

The Chauvet Vesuvio 4 IP is a very punchy vertical smoke machine. In operation it looks more like a CO2 jet effect due to its intense output. It includes RGBA LED illumination of the smoke. We are very much looking forward to this machine arriving in our hire inventory – current arrival looks to be mid-summer 2026.
