Leg Saver 4 into 1 Leg Top

This aluminium Litestructures product is designed to sit on the top of a standard staging leg or a Leg Frame. It allows up to four LiteDeck staging decks be supported on a single leg. Depending on the orientation of the Leg Top, it can also be used with 1, 2, 3 or 4 decks.

The 4 into 1 Leg Top adds 190mm to the finished height of the stage platform. So if you are using 1m (1000mm) staging legs for example, your stage platform will now be 1190mm high.

The main reason to use a leg saver is to provide adjustable levelling for a stage platform or add wheels. Due to location of LiteDeck Leg pockets, when decks are connected to each other to form a stage platform, the spacing means that leg savers or wheels would conflict if you try to use them on adjacent decks. By using a single shared leg, it makes it possible to use either a single screw jack or wheel with up to four decks. Sharing legs does put additional loading on this single support. Ensure you allow for this when calculating the capacity of your stage platform.

Braked Staging Wheel for hire

Designed specifically to be used with the LiteDeck modular staging system, this 4″ Braked Staging Wheel can be used to create a range of staging items. Consisting of a heavy duty flightcase wheel bolted to a custom steel tube. These braked staging wheels fit neatly and directly into a LiteDeck corner leg pocket. Once fitted, the LiteDeck will sit at just under one foot high. The LiteDeck then becomes a rolling riser deck with countless different applications. They can be used with any shape or size of LiteDeck. Four wheels are usually required per LiteDeck. The foot operated brake can be used to stop the deck rolling as required. IPS also stock an un-braked version if this feature is not required.

Multi-Deck Risers

• The wheel plate dimensions prevent placing wheels in adjacent leg pockets when joining LiteDeck modules.
• You can mitigate this by bolting the two decks together and using one set of wheels along the joint.
• For example, an 8ft × 8ft rolling riser built from two 8ft × 4ft LiteDeck modules requires six wheels.

Alternative Height Risers

• Fit the braked staging wheel with a scaffold coupler to insert an extra staging leg and create a rolling stage leg.
• This setup allows you to build platforms at different heights.
• The lowest alternative platform height possible is 2ft due to component dimensions.

Long Screw Jack

Long Screw Jack for using with LiteDeck Staging.

Approximately 20 inches long, these short screwjacks are ideal for levelling stage platforms. When using more than one LiteDeck module together, you will also need either a Leg Saver or 4 in to 1 Leg top. This is as due to the footprint of the screw jack – you can only fit one under the corner of each deck. Short Screw Jack with Half Base

Short Screw Jack for using with LiteDeck Staging. As the name suggests, this is a customised version of our short screw jack but with half the base cut off.  Ideal for using at the permiter of platforms where you need to attach a solid fasica panel and can’t have anything sticking out. These jacks offer less structural stabilty to their full based counterparts, so only use in applications where the loading has been carefully considered.

Approximately 10 inches long, these short screwjacks are ideal for levelling stage platforms. When using more than one LiteDeck module together, you will also need either a Leg Saver or 4 in to 1 Leg top. This is as due to the footprint of the screw jack – you can only fit one under the corner of each deck.

We only stock these as short options – if you need more adjustment you’ll have to be more accurate with your leg length selection!!
