The EXE Rise range is made from extremely light cast aluminium. This one ton model has a compact body size – officially named ‘Medium Frame’ in EXE terminology.  The IPS hire stock versions tip the scales at 83.5kg including the chain. Speaking of chains, the IPS hire stock 1000kg EXE Rise motors feature a useful 25m Height of Lift. This makes these work well in most venues as a straight drop – and comfortably work in a motor down configuration for a ground support for towers up to 12m tall.

Martin MAC Viper XIP Hire

Now LED powered and IP rated – the new Martin MAC Viper XIP is ready to hire from IPS. This new fixture represents an LED source IP-rated version of the classic Viper fixture family. The XIP improves on all the best attributes of all the previous versions. It has quickly established itself as a go to fixture for indoor and outdoor applications.

Ticking all the key features boxes when looking for a profile fixture, the impressive 5.7 to 54 degree zoom range of the Viper XIP also place it firmly in the hybrid range. Colour reproduction from the 760W LED enging includes full CMY mixing plus CCT and fixed colours. With a punchy 28k lumen output, beam control is via frost, prism, iris and zoom as well as framing shutters. Next level Strobing

The JDC Burst 1 is the powerful successor to the JDC1, setting new standards in brightness, color variety, and flexibility. With its robust construction and IP65 protection, it guarantees top performance under the most demanding conditions. Not that anyone asked for a brighter JDC1, but the Burst 1 update certainly delivers, making this IP65 rated version faster as well as packed with more control options.

A 12‑segment controlled white strobe line forms the heart of this fixture. Either side of this are RGBW LED plates that enable stunning color effects. The motorized 185° tilt and precise control of 1,200 RGBW LED pixels, create dynamic lighting effects that transform any stage into a visual spectacle. The RGBW plates control is divided into 48 segments of 5 × 5 pixels each. Control is via ten different DMX modes, requiring 19 to 249 channels. Eight of these modes offer Burst 1 specific paramters, and the last two give legacy JDC1 emulation to allow a seamless show swap between the two fixture types if required. GLP JDC Burst 1 Strobe ready to hire now at IPS

Martin Sceptron XB 1000mm LED IP Batten Hire

Martin Sceptron XB is a compact, high-performance LED pixel system, designed for both lighting and creative video application. The Martin Sceptron XB 1000mm is an extremely compact and lightweight RGBW pixel-batten with a range of accessories allowing it to be configured to create a huge range of different looks.

This hire listing is for the standard 1000mm / one metre long version of the Sceptron XB. IPS also have the 320mm version in hire stock. If you are familiar with the previous generation of Martin VDO 10 Sceptron, this is a new and improved version. It is physically almost the same (slightly deeper) with the same range of filters and diffusers, and with some additional clever new rigging accessories. Cabling has been changed from the old BBD type to a new DCE type of Hybrid power & data cabling. Most importantly, the Sceptron XB is now RGBW, with significantly improved light output compared to the previous RGB generation. It is now also IP65 rated and can be used indoors or outdoors as required.

The RGBW LEDs at the heart of the Sceptron XB produce more than triple the output of VDO Sceptron 10. Higher output and higher light quality (CRI / TM-30 / TLCI) are achieved using Full Gamut Pixel Calibration.
