IPS is also offers Venue Services, and is the in house technical partner for the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.

We understand that as important as the large inventory of equipment from leading suppliers, is the technical knowledge, practical experience and creative flair to fulfill the brief for each event- and get the best value from that equipment. We employ a full time staff of over 30 people, regularly supplemented by a team of freelancers. IPS invests significant amounts of time and resources into training, and across the team various qualifications are held, including Prolyte Rigging Training, IPAF certificates, a range of different Forklift licenses, First Aid qualifications, and product specific training for various items. We also have a qualified electrician on the staff to ensure any temporary electrical installations can be certified.

Health and Safety is an important consideration at IPS, and all tasks are risk assessed, with appropriate method statements produced. All IPS standard structures full structural reports, and all equipment is regularly inspected, maintained and certified. Equipment and Structure installation is always overseen by qualified staff, and where appropriate, handover sheets are produced for each installation. IPS regularly works with bespoke truss structures for one off events, and has a close working relationship with our main rigging partners Prolyte and Layher- and also a firm of structural engineers to ensure that any structures that are built are suitably wind rated and ballasted. Environmental considerations are also made, and with the company ethos based in equipment rental, as much as possible is designed to be reusable, which is a good starting point. IPS are also full members of the Production Services Association (PSA) and the Professional Lighting and Sound Association (PLASA) and abide by their trading conditions- as well as being informed with the latest industry regulations and best practice guidance.

IPS has been trading as a limited company for many years, and operates from a large warehouse which incorporates offices, workshop areas and a trade counter as well as storage and prep/ testing areas. IPS has a fleet of vehicles including crew vehicles, 3.5t vans, 7.5t trucks, and 18t trucks, alongside 45ft step frame box and curtain sided artic trailers, so whatever the size of show, we can deliver (and collect afterwards!). We have worked with a huge range of customers, in a variety of locations all over the UK and further afield. From councils, to corporate event companies, to festivals, we are at home on a range of different event sites. Throughout the summer, our main work is within the Outdoor events sector, although we still have a balance of more corporate clients, and have always worked with lots of local schools, venues and theatre groups.
