Living Wage Logo WebWe are proud to announce IPS is now accredited by the Living Wage Association

All UK employees must be paid the statutory minimum wage if under 23, and the national living wage if over 23, and although this is the minimum requirement, with all the recent cost of living increases, it doesn’t always mean this is enough money to live on. The Real Living Wage is a calculation made according to the actual costs of living, reflecting the real-world costs of household goods and services, and the rates are set each year, with the most recent rates being announced at on 22nd September 2022.

We can now announce that having completed the journey to becoming recognised by the Living Wage Association, we are now officially accredited – and as this is #LivingWageWeek in the UK, it seems like the ideal time to shout about it! You can find our name listed on the website here.

IPS owner James Mason says “we appreciate that our staff are essential for the continued success of the business, and we really value all the work they put in – and achieving the Living Wage accreditation is another of the many ways we are able to demonstrate this to both them and our customers”

There is more detail about the Living Wage Foundation, a comparison of the differnt rates, and loads of information about the scheme on their website here: https://www.livingwage.org.uk/
