The fixtures include our first outdoor moving head additions to hire stock, and they have all been given the once over by our service and lighting departments, and soon all 200 will no doubt be popular additions to the IPS rental inventory.

Prolights Panorama IP Airbeam webThe Prolights Panorama Airbeam IP is as the name suggests a moving head beam fixture – and a very bright one too. With a 440w Osram discharge lamp source and a 2 degree beam angle, the Airbeam IP packs a series punch. Full CMY colour mixing along with a fixed colour wheel and correction options for the 7000k lamp coupled with frost, circular and linear prisms make this more than a one trick effect – and the range of static and rotating gobos can provide great in air effects. Power connections come in via on TRUE1 connectors make this easy to connect – and needing just 550w of power, energy usage is low. DMX is on 5pin connectors, or via the Wireless Solutions wireless DMX protocol, and the fixtures are fully RDM compliant. With a unit weight of 39kg, the units can either be floor mounted, or rigged using the omega brackets and quick trigger clamps that will be supplied with all IPS hire fixtures. Prolights Panorama IP Wash webThe Prolights Panorama WBX IP is a moving head LED Wash fixture, around the size of a Clay Paky K20 B-EYE. 19 x 40w Osram RGBW COB sources provide the smooth output over the 3 to 45 degree beam angle range. An outer ring of RGB pixels around the head adds another dimension to the fixture, making this ideal to create a range of looks even in an environment with high ambient light levels. Power connections are via TRUE1, and the units require just under 700w to operate. DMX is on 5pin connectors, or via the Wireless Solutions wireless DMX protocol, and the fixtures are fully RDM compliant. Various control modes allow access to the built in effects, or a fully mapped mode is also available meaning the fixtures require between 18 and 42 channels of DMX. As with the Airbeam, the WBX is supplied with quick trigger clamps or can also floor stand, and weighs in at 35kg per fixture. Prolights Lumipix LED Batten webLast but no means least is the impressively bright Lumipix 15 IP LED Batten. A 1m long fixture with 15 x 10w RGBW COB LED sources, the Lumipix has some neat features including the single omega clamp on the rear to provide all sorts of rigging options. The 16 degree beam angle is ideal for uplighting applications, and a magnetically mounted frost holder is fitted to smooth the output if required. Floor mount brackets are also fitted, and the design allows a continuous line of battens to have equal cell spacing for impressive chasing effects if required. Power is supplied via TRUE 1 in and out connectors, and with a requirement for less than 200w per fixture these are easy to connect together. DMX is via 5pin connectors, or Wireless Solutions W-DMX wireless, and the range of built in effects can be accessed in various control modes – or the fixtures can be fully mapped with a channel footprint of 4 to 65 channels per fixture.
